Do we have the human and infrastructural facilities that can fully exploit the opportunities of TEL. To what extent do our institutions leverage the potential of ICT for improving access and quality of general and technical education and also faculty development.

To say about engineering, the matter what is tought to students is 80% useless. The companies just sellect students having good IQ . they are not interested in student's results. THEN MY QUESTION IS WHY A MIDDLE CLASS STUDENT SHOULD PAY LACS AND LACS EVERY YEAR FOR JUST A ENGG CERTIFICATE , WHICH IS USE LESS. A GOOD SKILL ED STUDENT who is not having degree is paid less by companies or institutions. And one having degree but unskilled gets higher salery, this is situation everywhere

It is very much vital to have views of learned educationalists. Someone who has understood education system across globe can really help. One such person that i admire is Sir Ken Robinson. I recommend a video and a book on how grassroots revolution in education can be executed.

The present education system is not providing any syllabus for facing the challenges in the real life after education. So creating Self Confidence in the youth is a must. Then only they prepared to face life. For this personality development like courses be introduced in +2 level or Degree level.

Engineering colleges are still very theoretical-also teach lot of irrelevant theory-PCM,Engg Drawing,Calculus not needed - should be replaced with practical skillset which industry specifies. To start with Industry should specify atleast 50% of skillset that is taught in colleges.CA/MBBS do much better because they have very close connection with industry. CA interns get skilled as they are used by industry-need 2 give more internship time every year in Engg.

Flipped classrooms is definitely an opportunity because it focuses so much on learning by doing, which is by far the most effective. The online lecture material can easily be standardized and we can leverage on the best teachers for the lectures. We can track what students are doing online with a learning mgmt system (plenty of free ones too). In the classroom, it creates a need for coaches rather than the traditional teacher/lecturer to guide students to learn from problems and mistakes made.

High speed broad band internet should made accessible in every classroom... Smart class rooms are necessary for each department. Training should be given given to teachers for handling these equipment. MHRD should supply quality equipment. Most supplies are of poor quality.

We have to create a portal for sharing quality learning materials. Every teacher, student can create content and upload the same so that every student can have access to quality learning material. Every teacher can create and upload quality learning material to that portal. The only problem to face is copyright issues. But, those things can also be rectified. The contents can be peer edited like as in wikipedia.

I want all private schools and colleges be banned and nationalised. Govt should not handover education to traders of education. We are building future of our next generation for betterment of country society and development. We are multi religious society. We can't afford division among our own people.how can we develop a inclusive society if we segregate the future generation as majority minority. Friendship develops in schools by education and mix religions.PLZ stop segregation of future gen

Technology enabled learning provide education at any time. In our country a very good student with a good scientific approach lose his views and ideas when he join the job. When he doing the job he has to constantly work upon the office work. Because most of the working time he spend in the office he had no time to work upon his ambitions, views and ideas. Technology enabled learning can provide education to those people in non working hours. By providing this we can use their wisdom
