Dear citizen and good wishes of Oulgaret Smart City,

This is to inform that Oulgaret Municipality could not find a place in the list of selected cities under Fast Track Mode.

The Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India communicated the observations made by the experts during evaluation of the Revised Proposal of Smart City Oulgaret by the Oulgaret Municipality, which can be viewed in the following link: Comments of the Ministry

The Smart City Proposal submitted to Ministry of Urban Development under Fast Track Competition may be viewed in the following link: Oulgaret Smart City Proposal – Fast Track Combined

The MOUD has further directed to modify the Smart City Proposal based on the above observations and to resubmit it on or before 30-06-2016.

As such it is requested to go through our Smart City Plan of Oulgaret in detail along with the observations of the expert panel and submit your inputs here within 10th June 2016. We request you to spare some of your valuable time and contribute in making Oulgaret as a Smart City.

Why can't we use one card for all public transportation. Many country use one card for Metro, Tram, Taxi, Marine transport, Local Train, Bus and this card you can top up via any grocery shop, recharge booth, ATM machine or online through online banking or through credit card. whenever passenger enter the platform they need to CheckIn and when he leave he needs to check out. this way machine will calculate number of KM passenger travel and deduct the fare.

The first thing is we must provide drainage provision for all area under the Oulgaret Municipality, Most of the places are not provided Proper Road facilities and drainage systems i.e., "L" Drain. Espeacially In Datchanamoorthy Nagar, Kathirmamam Constituency, The Nagar has well grown whereas no drainage facility so far. All the house holders are severly affected during small part of rain. The water is stagnated through road, since no drainage facilities. So first we must solve the adequate.

The proposed city may constructed outside the cities and all government office as well as public sector\ private sector should sifted to new cities with minimum twenty five thousands flats for residential purpose with all township facilities.

The smart cities should also have proper facilities for entertainment and the safety and security of the people. State-of-the-art health and education facilities are also a must.

Public transport should be improved. More dustbins should be placed at public places. Shopkeepers/vendors should be bound to keep dustbins. More Public toilets should be made
