Farmers should use biofertilizers like Azosprillum, Azotobacter, Nitrogen fixers, Phosphate solubilizers, Potassium mobilizers ,Bacillus thuringenesis, vermicompost, cow dung, cow urine, etc. As microbial count of beneficial organisms increases in soil, the yield increases and there will be no need to add more chemical fertilizers. These organisms are eco-friendly and pocket friendly also.

I would like to suggest you to open chain of cold storage for storing vegitable products thru Amul like organisation and giving shares to farmers. Rightnow when crop is in market its price falls below production cost due to cartelling of meddlemen.Government should try to clamp this by generating strong cooperative organisation like Amul and scrapping strong network of middlemen out, so real profit goes to farmers and not the middlemen. .Right now potato in gujarat is the example.

Promote SAFE “GM (Genetically Modified) crops”. If the crop passes all the Field and Lab test, then we can start using it.

Dear sir,
it is a good initiative taken by you to share your thoughts through the programme 'Man Ki Baat'. I want to share my opinion with you when you talk with the farmers of the country you should have to talk about the land acquisition bill, and try to make them trust in the government's intension about the bill. And it is important that before you have put the bill in front of rajya sabha, government call the press conference.

Proper soil testing labs should be there. Many of the labs are giving fake reports without testing the sample. Please before starting the distribution of soil health card, set the proper lab with good technicians. So that the report will benefit the farmers. Thank you sir for starting up Soil Health Card Scheme.
