Many of the agriculture colleges and universities are not at all working well. For ex. PKV, Akola. If we call them to ask our queries simply they will keep on forwarding our calls to other departments but not able to give answer to our queries. They are just for name sake and wasting our countries money. They are not helping the farmers of their area, then what is the use of agriculture university in that area.

Help Package: Huge amounts are approved as help package, but it does not reach the to the actual needy. There is a need to have a proper follow-up and make sure it reaches to them and that too within time.
Actually, this also applies to other areas where these kinds are monetary help are provided.

Hon'ble PM , There is a feeling in India in general and farmers in particular that compulsory land acquisition is for the personal gains of the politicians. This is due to last 10 years experience of the people. Please explain the difference between your Govt. and previous Govt. and try to remove this fear / feeling.

Make farmers aware of benefits of farm pond. So that they can store their own water for some time period and take benefit of that stored water.

Fellow citizens
Without knowing the Farmers conditions & reality.,please don't comment on them, Farmers are not begging, all they need is seamless power & irrigation facilities and bit loan supports, unlike corporate sectors they are selfless workers - mind it without them you won't get food! Food security is the key aspect to Nation Development.., consider Farmers...

Farmers are using chemicals & pesticides without any knowledge about its side effects & those chemicals are are coming in our food chain also. Please suggest farmers to use biofertilizers(like Phosphate solubilizing bacteria,Rhizobium,Bacillus spp.,beneficial fungi, etc),vermicompost, cowdung, cow urine, neem, pheromone traps, etc instead of chemicals. These chemicals are making soil infertile and it is harmful for nature, birds and animals also.Government should set biofertilizer company in each state.
