Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will share his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with the farmers of India on 22nd March 2015.

The Prime Minister is very keen to interact with his farmer sisters and brothers across India and would also like to hear their thoughts, ideas and insights on a wide range of issues relating to agriculture. He has requested farmers across India to write to him and send letters to ‘Mann Ki Baat, Akashvani, Sansad Marg, Delhi – 110001’. Some farmers can ask the Prime Minister their question directly during the episode.

MyGov also gives you all this wonderful opportunity to contribute through ideas and inputs for the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ episode with India’s hardworking farmers.

The PM has repeatedly said that India cannot progress until the farmers of the Nation progress and has assured that the Centre will leave no stone unturned in ensuring the agricultural progress of India.

BJP MP's are not interested in farmers. They don't have time to visit their constituencies .They should visit farmers and make changes in Land Bill accordingly.

Farmers should be informed about weather daily (all around the year) by metrological department of respective areas, so that they can take proper measures to save their crops from heavy loss due to rain or any other climatic change. This will not only help farmers but also country will get benefit. Warning about bad weather should be given atleast one week before.

Schemes designed for farmers produce to reach customers are governed by very typical bureaucratic n expensive ways. Fixed format for implementation should be scrapped and open ideas on broad level of guidelines should be allowed. Let entrepreneurs come with ideas and solutions which should be allowed with risk of failure if it be so. Local produce sold in local areas is best policy and should be encouraged - saves storing, transport and wastage of about 30%. Biggest worry is waste.

As Vivekananda had said "If a person comes to you for bread, do not give him bread. Educate him how to earn his own bread". Why we can not think in this direction that our farmers should be smart enough to solve their problems. For that Education is the solution. Too much pampering makes anyone lazy ,irresponsible and always thinking someone should come for help. Look at Israel for that case. Our farmers shd get rid of this dependent mentality. Empower with Education.
