Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will share his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with the farmers of India on 22nd March 2015.

The Prime Minister is very keen to interact with his farmer sisters and brothers across India and would also like to hear their thoughts, ideas and insights on a wide range of issues relating to agriculture. He has requested farmers across India to write to him and send letters to ‘Mann Ki Baat, Akashvani, Sansad Marg, Delhi – 110001’. Some farmers can ask the Prime Minister their question directly during the episode.

The PM has repeatedly said that India cannot progress until the farmers of the Nation progress and has assured that the Centre will leave no stone unturned in ensuring the agricultural progress of India.

Dear Sir, In India farmers always do not get the right price for their commodities. With lot of hard work they have good yield but due to big chain of traders/commission agents in system who decide the price. Many times more supply of commodity like eg: tomato gets the price of rs 2 per kg. Here farmer has invested more money to grow but due fall in prices he faces a loss. So some autonomous body of all stake holders so decide minimum base price so that farmer does not incur loss&Save farmer

There is need of general awareness in Land acquisition bill farmers need to be educate on this particular issue.for land acquisition by doing open auction n educating people to need of social projects like Power project,Educational institutes,roads etc.It's more important because India is "Krishipradhan" country.

It is very heartening to see farmer dies due to debt burden. It really forces us to think exactly where we are in terms of development after so many years of independence. Sir, requesting you with my folded hands please do something concrete and visible to save our farmers because only due to them we are getting food to live. Sometimes I feel like GOI is not doing enough just for the sake of helping unscrupulous businessman to do black marketing of food items by not creating enough cold storage.

Government should create awareness about Land Acquisition Bill, the information should reach the farmers to gain their confidence and support. Once you have their support it is easy to get the bill passed. Recently I came across a news about how there is a corruption happening in Crop insurance claims and a Farmer from North Karnataka stunned CM of Siddharamaiah by advising to use Google Maps to determine Crop Insurance claims. The central govt.with the help of state govt.can open food stores in states and districts.These stores will act as retail outlets. It will have two advantages. One,it will check inflation of essential foodgrains,vegetables etc. Second,it will as stated earlier act as a platform for the farmers to sell their agricultural produce.

The govt.can establish regulated foodgrain hub in agriculturally rich states and districts. Such hubs will act as a market for the farmers. These hubs will collect foodgrains from the farmers directly and thus help the farmers earn the best price.These steps will encourage the farmers to engage in farming. Lack of proper infrastructure and branding of our own agricultural produce have discouraged the farmers over the years.

Dear Sir, Farmers would like hear about land acquisition policy. Unskilled India has only one hope that is their land. Now all other parties are misleading them, only BJP cannot educate all farmers. Farmers want a decent regular income from their land without losing ownership. When farmers will get this regular income without cultivating their next generation will not be dependent on this. All these rented land shall be digitalized and shall be traded on stock exchange.

The govt.can think of developing a mechanism through which the farmer may directly trade with the seller.The govt.may consider an opinion about establishing a registration portal or office in every district. The farmers may be alloted a kisan card which will have a unique registration number. Thus,he can approach FCI officials who can inspect the quality of his agricultural produce and can offer him the best price. We can eradicate the middleman in this process.

Sir, I have been seeing poor farmer families since my childhood. They still mostly depend on local 'Mahajan' for credit. So, they are totally dependent on them when sell their agricultural products. I would request to you to purchase the products directly from farmer through government and govern sponsored institution or agencies, such way they can get proper value of their products and rural middle income farm-families poverty can mitigate by the way. Thanks for 'jana Dhan Yojana'

Please First Try To Clean India Because It Seems Small But Its Not .... Remember Some Times Small Is Too Much Big. Suggestion : Please Provide Dustbins All Over Small Areas And Some Trucks To Take (Trucks That Run On Water Not On Petrol) It. Not All Over The City But Start With Small.
