Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will share his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with the farmers of India on 22nd March 2015.

The Prime Minister is very keen to interact with his farmer sisters and brothers across India and would also like to hear their thoughts, ideas and insights on a wide range of issues relating to agriculture. He has requested farmers across India to write to him and send letters to ‘Mann Ki Baat, Akashvani, Sansad Marg, Delhi – 110001’. Some farmers can ask the Prime Minister their question directly during the episode.

The PM has repeatedly said that India cannot progress until the farmers of the Nation progress and has assured that the Centre will leave no stone unturned in ensuring the agricultural progress of India.

Water is elixir of plant and crop life and central to farmer confidence. It is key input in non-canal and groundwater irrigated areas. Three ideas, technology of assured critical moisture at plant root using no electricity, re-design watershed architecture for water equity/availability at different contour levels and finally competition among irrigation users and rewards for water-soil efficiency to bring the next genre of ideas/innovations.

kisaan ki halat bahut kharab hen me dekha he pardhan mantri yojnna me saste dar par loan he lekin bank us yojna me bhi pura byaj lete hen lakh par 20.000 comition alag he ye me amroha me dekha he pls kisaan ko dekhiye

If government will promote organized farming cum food processing sector, in which each farmer will not only be shareholder, also he will be right to job in that cooperative society/company. I think it will be a mile stone in indian agriculture sector. Govt may also make agricutur income taxable, in which dividend distribution tax may be imposed as per company law. As well as soil testing/similar services should be fundamental right of farmer. PM should also explain to farmer for land acq. bill

सरकारी योजनाओं की पंहुच एक आम किसान तक होती तो किसानो की यह दुर्दशा नहीं होती, एक किसान पटवारी ,ग्राम सेवक जैसे लोगों के पास जा कर अपनी बात कहने का साहस नहीं कर पाता ,जिनकी नियुक्ति ऐसे लोगों की सेवा के लिए ही है,उसकी फसल का बीमा कहाँ कैसे होता है उसे नहीं मालूम,सरकारी ट्यूब वेल का पानी भी दबंग ले जाते हैं ,पूरा तंत्र बीमार है,और निम्नतम स्तर पर बैठा किसान सरकार को बड़े दर्द से महसूस करता है ,वस्तुस्तिथी कैसे बदले ?
