Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will share his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with the farmers of India on 22nd March 2015.

The Prime Minister is very keen to interact with his farmer sisters and brothers across India and would also like to hear their thoughts, ideas and insights on a wide range of issues relating to agriculture. He has requested farmers across India to write to him and send letters to ‘Mann Ki Baat, Akashvani, Sansad Marg, Delhi – 110001’. Some farmers can ask the Prime Minister their question directly during the episode.

MyGov also gives you all this wonderful opportunity to contribute through ideas and inputs for the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ episode with India’s hardworking farmers.

The PM has repeatedly said that India cannot progress until the farmers of the Nation progress and has assured that the Centre will leave no stone unturned in ensuring the agricultural progress of India.

In the brief of this concept, We actually promote development in the form of Sports to be the center of attraction and can lead a village towards self sufficient village.Lets try execute it. Here is the file.

Being so advance INDIA,can you say why potato farmers have to suicide??There are so called developed cold storage, but it has no good policy. So,the farmers have to give potato at very low price to the cold-storage holders. But the cold-storage holders sell them at very high cost. So, the agricultural marketing system should be improved.

Indian govt. should set up local radio broadcast specifically for farmers which is automated by being connected to the internet and provides timely local weather, price and important information. And equip all farmers with two way radios (solar charged?). Creating a sort of "Radio Twitter" for farmers to exchange information locally . Knowledge sharing between local farmers and timely information from the govt. may be key to improving farm output and better decision making for them.

For Farmers contracted to 3rd party land - Govt to provide subsidy to land owner & procure produce from land owner. Produce procured is settled in 2 parts - direct subsidies to land lord, direct account credit to farmers (daily wage as stipulated).
