Its double edged sward. Food must be affordable but must farmers must be paid adequately. I live in UK and I see how cheap Indian rice and Mangoes sell for. Farmers are exploited. While we import weapons so costly, our farmers do not get their price for food they produce. that is weakness of govt. Farmers cannot be asked to subsidise the world cutting their own belly. Govt. must negotiate better food prices in the international market for the farmers.

Modiji, On your strong action some states have relaxed the debts of the farmers. But kindly ensure for their food, education for their children and basic necessities. The oppositions' mouth will automatically shut up.

Farmers are most sufferers. Assured them irrigation facility. Provide them reliable price for their produce. The brokers or the business man gets the benefit. the children of farmers are not able to get good education. Honorable PM you have started a drive it is very good but be confirmed u r ideas are truly implemented.

Sir,
It is high time for us to understand the importance of water and now its time to bridge the gap between irrigation potential created and utilised. We must check system deficiencies to control conveyance losses and application losses of precious irrigation water.
