Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will share his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with the farmers of India on 22nd March 2015.

The Prime Minister is very keen to interact with his farmer sisters and brothers across India and would also like to hear their thoughts, ideas and insights on a wide range of issues relating to agriculture. He has requested farmers across India to write to him and send letters to ‘Mann Ki Baat, Akashvani, Sansad Marg, Delhi – 110001’. Some farmers can ask the Prime Minister their question directly during the episode.

The PM has repeatedly said that India cannot progress until the farmers of the Nation progress and has assured that the Centre will leave no stone unturned in ensuring the agricultural progress of India.

KINDLY CONVINCE OUR FARMERS NOT TO FALL IN THE CLUTCH OF MONEY-LENDERS OR SAHUKARS IN RURAL AREAS.FARMERS ARE EXPLOITED BY THEM.I HAVE SEEN IN MY VILLAGE THAT THESE MONEY LENDERS GO TO THEIR FARMS AND TAKE AWAY FRUITS & VEGETABLES WITH OUT PAYING THEM AND AS WELL AS CHARGE HUGE RATE OF INTEREST RANGING FROM 50 TO 60%.PLEASE REQUEST FARMERS NOT TO SIGN ANY BLANK DOCUMENTS GIVEN BY SAHUKARS.

There are a few major needs of a farmer. Firstly education not only about farming but also about government schemes. There should be an ATI on the line of (I)Ndustrial(T)raining(I)nstitute i.e. ITI. Secondly, for development project land may be acquired to the extent not more than 10% of the land in the area of development project. This means more land should be considered and then after deducting land for project rest should be distributed in the same proportion as held earlier.

Our Problem Is Population-We can address this by transforming Present Caste Based Reservation Policy-with Reservation2Single/two-children Family,in phased manner; Say after 7years from now-CasteBasedReservation will be replaced by SmallFamily based. Instead of HorizontalGrowth of Cities-verticalbe Encouraged also-byDiscouraging MigrationFrm villages:This can be done by giving Benefit/Concessional-Loans2-Farmers/Villagers4-animalrearing(specially Oxenwithcart)+HouseBuilding+ProdcowdungManure

Dear PM Is there any planning of the govt to settle the scatered land holdings of the farmers and to provide land in a single patch, so that farmers can plan better usages of their land.

Respected Modi Ji What your view about increasing the MSP of crops by reducing the subsidy, I believe farmers will be more excited to get higher value of their produces rather then the subsidies.

So far, the system has become that Govt will speak and people will listen. It is now most important for the Hon'ble PM to listen to mass. Interest can be developed when Govt listens and people speak. It should be peoples' Mann Ki Baat which PM should listen. Response will tell me if I should take interest in such blogs. Thanks

Cottage industries and food processing industries should be promoted in villages and marketing should be taken care by Govt. Bank loan should be made easier which is not easily available due to corrupt practices. Market rates of commodity should be taken care of the expenditures on produce.

Honorable Prime minister, The big change which changes the life of farmers is by making them self grow. Make everything like a co-operative societies not just for taking subsidies. Let them lead the market through direct selling, AMUL is the perfect example. The same should be for all the produces and the farmers should be able to sell the produce to consumer. You have set an example saying we will sell kadhi products through flipkart or some other. Use your postal department for delivering.
