आज हमारी आजादी को सिर्फ 68 साल हुये हैं। 400 साल पहले आजाद हुये अमेरिका से हम तुलना नहीं कर सकते हैं। हमें अभी काफी लंबा सफर तय करना है। हमारे यहाँ केन्द्र तथा राज्य के कार्यालयों में पाँच दिनी कार्य दिवस की प्रथा पर रोक लगनी चाहिए। एक-एक कार्य दिवस हमारे लिए अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है। सरकारी कार्यलयों में भी छुट्टियों की सीमा निश्चित करने की जरूरत है। ये जरूरी तो नहीं कि हर त्योहार और जन्मदिन को छुट्टी के साथ ही मनाया जाए।

1. बेसिक शिक्षा के स्तर में सुधार के लिए समर्पित और योग्य शिक्षकों की जरूरत होती है न कि सिर्फ नौकरी करने वालों की। आज बहुतायत में सरकारी शिक्षक सिर्फ तनख़्वाह के लिए स्कूल जाते हैं उनको हमारे बच्चों के भविष्य से कोई सरोकार नहीं है। ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में शिक्षक के रूप में नियुक्त होने वाले शहरी नागरिकों को नौकरी मिलने के बाद शहर में ट्रान्सफर नहीं मिलना चाहिए। अनुपयुक्त और अप्रभावी शिक्षकों की सेवा भी समाप्त की जानी चाहिए।

Timely effort by the PM. The focus should be on the rural and agriculture sectors as majority of the rural population hears radio even in this TV, Mobile saga! The PM need to stress the importance of the rural development where the majority depends on the agriculture. He may outline the programs that are going to be implemented in the near future to improve the living standards of the people in the rural and agri sectors. This radio conversation has to take place at least twice in a year.

Attitude towards disability needs to change through the vision of empowerment of people with disabilities through skills, education and employment. The message is simple enough, disability is not a curse, its a condition which has to be accepted in reality and life has to be lived with it, no matter whatever challenges come along the way.
