The Policy on Collaborative Application development by Opening the source code of Applications intends to increase the pace of application development and rapid roll out/ implementation by adopting the principles of open-source development model. Government wants to promote reuse of existing developed applications. Successful running applications and new applications are envisaged to be developed within the public domain by opening the application source code and it is also intended to encourage innovation inside and outside Government by encouraging collaborative development to achieve better products in less time.

e-Gov application source open approach—including the use and release of application source to public—can reduce costs, reduce development time, and improve overall quality, including security through increased transparency and mass peer review.

In next budget, I think govt should introduce new income tax band of 35 or 40% besides 10%, 20% & 30%. Govt should give some relief to middle class by increasing income tax exemption by at least 1 lakh, increase 80C by 1 lakh, increase petrol allowance(conveyance) exemption on 2wheeler to at least 2thousands. Give tax benefit on children's education fees separately. Increase margin of medical expense benefit to 30000 from 15000.

Dear PM, All your Ideas seems to be paper tiger(Skill development, Digital India), until and unless you create job opportunities to the out coming college students, information is one part of science where it helps to take decisions, but it is not the ultimate Andra CM Shri Chandrababu naidu failed in his administration first time by collecting only Information (Information can stop corruption like allotting the same road repair or getting it repaired by same contractor with free of cost)

PM Sir open source code softwares are a must. we had faced practical problems in our GOI office. after the contract of e-tendering was over with the private vendor, he refused to handover his software. ultimately after 5 years of electronic tendering, we had to reverse back to manual mode of tendering i.e. packet system. we recovered back later. hence open source codes/programs are a must.

India is a great destination for E-commerce and we see considerable growth and investment. Govenment has to act as a catalyst and also be a moderator of framing the right structure. But there is a lot of scope for Indian Post to grow along with this advancement. Indian Postal service has the most reach of all the possible Courier services. I wish we bring life to the Postal service and this shall allow a lot of Jobs to be created as well.

Govt should ask the Indian software engineers to develop a central system which would hold data about every citizen of india with unique code. Subsidies, driving license, 7/12 of land & property related info, issued passport number, lpg gas connection number, etc should be managed by this software. There should not be many systems but one. If police wants some information of citizen for investigation then by taking permission they can get information and many more. Can't explain everything.

Dear Narendra Modi Sir, Mera naam Vaibhav ravindra bagade hai. sir aap cast reservation ka niyam band kardo. sabhi ko eksamman arakshan hona chahiye. kyo ki jo cast wala banda aage jata hai useke sabhi family ko aarkshan hota hai. aur jo banda open cast mai rahta hai wo piche ka piche rah jata hai. To mare bato ko aap achi tarahse vichar kariye aur kuch naya rule laagu kijiye. Thank's.

Dear Modi Sir, I am Pritesh Tejani, studying in Class 11 in Gujarat. I am a ranker in my school and have opted for Commerce because my aptitude served me. Digitization is the order of things today. khanacademey.org is doing wonders, i.e., they are ready when the student is. So, my proposal is that an Amazon Kindle like device be given to students so that they are not diverted by multimedia and this will also make updation and modification of data simpler. I thin that this be started after 6th.
