The Policy on Collaborative Application development by Opening the source code of Applications intends to increase the pace of application development and rapid roll out/ implementation by adopting the principles of open-source development model. Government wants to promote reuse of existing developed applications. Successful running applications and new applications are envisaged to be developed within the public domain by opening the application source code and it is also intended to encourage innovation inside and outside Government by encouraging collaborative development to achieve better products in less time.

e-Gov application source open approach—including the use and release of application source to public—can reduce costs, reduce development time, and improve overall quality, including security through increased transparency and mass peer review.

I went to a post office in Ghaziabad (next to BEL) today to open a savings a/c.When requested to know about the details for opening a a/c, he told me NOT to open any a/c in post office as the process is very tedious and I would face lots of trouble while withdrawing money back.Ultimately he turned me away since it seems that he did not wanted to increase his work. Can I ask you what is the gov doing to digitize post offices and ways to handle such inefficient and incompetent lazy gov employees.

In reference to the Finance Minister Arun Jaitley GOVT OF INDIA expressed recently about do away with LPG Subsidy for rich and restrict it to needy people. The super rich, urban rich and many others in india really don't need this LPG Subsidy and never asked subsidy. In this regard, I would like to suggest as a first step before working on final "do away with LPG Subsidy" Govt should send introduce scheme where in super rich, urban rich and any other people volunteerily declare that they don't need LPG Subsidy and the same declaration they can issue to their respective LPG Supplier. Please also highlight How this will help Govt in saving this subsidy money and can be utilized in a better way in Nation building exercise.

I would like to kind notice that Our country is very Big and many peoples are sleeping hungry everyday. Our Govt. says that we shall generate 100 smart cities. My request is that we should construct our food storage warehouses because land has been acquired for this purpose but building/warehouse is not constructed till now. Our farmers generate crops by hard work and these crops has damaged/destroyed by rain, sunlight and moistured air in open sky. You are requested to make crops warehouses.
