The Policy on Collaborative Application development by Opening the source code of Applications intends to increase the pace of application development and rapid roll out/ implementation by adopting the principles of open-source development model. Government wants to promote reuse of existing developed applications. Successful running applications and new applications are envisaged to be developed within the public domain by opening the application source code and it is also intended to encourage innovation inside and outside Government by encouraging collaborative development to achieve better products in less time.

e-Gov application source open approach—including the use and release of application source to public—can reduce costs, reduce development time, and improve overall quality, including security through increased transparency and mass peer review.

c) currently we have shabby websites, bad & non standard look and feel d) So many Indian MNCs can be easily partnered with for 3 yrs - YoY releases e) Worth referring to US and other government websites f) Partner with TCS,Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini India to have program, distribute projects and have a Year on Year delivery

standard websites for ALL state governments a) all state governments must have a a similar look & feel. Any Investment bank's website or any other government website can be viewed to get an idea of a "standard international quality"website b) Phases should be definied. Phase 1 - can be basic functions & READ ONLY Phase 2 - partial interactive facility Phase 3 - common departments across state governments to be built slowly

Sir when the project of rivers joining going to be start and when its going to be finished, meanwhile Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and kerala states will fight for water resources and common people like us only going to affect for their political issues. Kindly make a strong agreement for these states between river water contributing and have to follow strictly. Every year this water sharing issue going to supreme court and the final judgement are also not following and some issues are going.

In this modern world where Technology plays a vital role in online transaction; Why can’t I book my local railway tickets online??? Where I can do a recharge of just 10rs. Just give a session of thought on the same. We can develop an application where a passenger can book his tickets with the help of Railway Android application with much ease & with no effort. This will not only relief the passengers but also cut down the long queue + it will reduce the number of counters + 24*7 online ticketin

We are planning to do research on disaster management. I am a Research fellow computer science, Calcutta University. We can development devices for early detection of disaster and help our country to be safe. We have already theoretical planning. Some devices are required for practical implementation through wireless and GSM network.
