The Policy on Collaborative Application development by Opening the source code of Applications intends to increase the pace of application development and rapid roll out/ implementation by adopting the principles of open-source development model. Government wants to promote reuse of existing developed applications. Successful running applications and new applications are envisaged to be developed within the public domain by opening the application source code and it is also intended to encourage innovation inside and outside Government by encouraging collaborative development to achieve better products in less time.

e-Gov application source open approach—including the use and release of application source to public—can reduce costs, reduce development time, and improve overall quality, including security through increased transparency and mass peer review.

Thanks to fiscal discipline on the part of the government and tight money policy on the part of the RBI, inflation has been brought down. Let’s focus on skills development, economic reforms, GDP growth, Make-In-India, Digital India and a pride of place in UNSC and world affairs.

Without exception

In DGFT various licenses are issued. One is advanced licence. Imports/exports are made and norms fixed where the standard norms are not there. Adhoc norms are finalised by Sectoral Committees. These Committees have elaborate procedural requirements of obtaining technical comments from outside, clarification from importers etc. these results in wastage of time and money. To reduce this, DGFT could (i) Put the system of norms committee in automation mode; (ii) create own technical division.

Under Digital India, restricting of NIC was to be done by 31st October, but still no progress. Promotion of NIC officers are pending for last 4 years. Motivation is the most important factor to increase productivity.

Everybody knows about corruption and fraudulent activities in entrance examinations across the country. I want current NDA govt. to answer whether it knows about this menace or not, due to which real talent of India is not getting any opportunity to serve the nation more effectively. There should be increased transparency in recruitment procedures. People are aware of it and are willing to pay any amount for their own child to get through. Take necessary action.
