The Policy on Collaborative Application development by Opening the source code of Applications intends to increase the pace of application development and rapid roll out/ implementation by adopting the principles of open-source development model. Government wants to promote reuse of existing developed applications. Successful running applications and new applications are envisaged to be developed within the public domain by opening the application source code and it is also intended to encourage innovation inside and outside Government by encouraging collaborative development to achieve better products in less time.

e-Gov application source open approach—including the use and release of application source to public—can reduce costs, reduce development time, and improve overall quality, including security through increased transparency and mass peer review.

We invite your attention and comments on the Policy on Collaborative Application development by Opening the source code of Applications

I would suggest in wake of schools closure in Rajasthan, this would lead to high dropout rates and instead gov should increase the share of education in buget as only RTE can ensure SKILL INDIA CAMPAIGN to be effective and meaningful.. thank you

Dear sir. I have a suggestion to prevent traffic police corruption. Why don't we provide an incentive for traffic police in terms of percentage of from a challan. Suppose he cuts a challan of Rs 100/- we can give hime a Rs. 25 incentive on that. Inaddition this income should be tax free. So they will not take bribe from motorists and every time find any irresponsible motorist he cut a challan. He is also happy and the government also gets more money. In addition the people also get disciplined.

Administrative officers, Police officers and local MLAs & MPs should be penalised heavily for any crime in the respective parts of the country. I think most of the crimes can be averted. Similarly, along with them , the concerned persons of any field e.g. PWD,Electricity Board, Food Dept. etc. should get the same treatment to make the country free from any types of crimes.

Sir, ‎I believe my suggestion could be useful for our country and economy. Govt. should ‎order for compulsory ISI certification on each commodity, raw material and finished products which is importing. Every importer should bring samples and get quality certificate from Indian Standard. At the moment of clearing importer must have the ISI certificate. All ports equipped with lab facility. It will discourage the price oriented import and incourage the make in india programme.

Old TV frequencies can be used to provide 'super wifi' as per German scientist & it has far better coverage. They are going to demo it in WRC next year so no need to auction these waves. Read article on economic times 26 Nov 2014. PS: click on any click (say 'Digital India' ) below "All Groups" category it gives us the selected group info which is good but there is no option to write comment except main landing page I think on RHS we can provide 'Comments' along with "Post", "Likes" etc

Irrespective of China's opinion or oppose we should move ahead with clear understanding with our SAARAC neighbors building all the strategic border highways. By the we need to to strengthen our own defense capabilities matching our requirements or even more than that. with a vision to build a Tibetan Liberation Army by recruiting NE-FA people to counter all sorts of China's so called border disputes. " Kantake Naibakantakam" should be the policy of Bharat with China and Pakistan with diplomacy.

Respected PM and My dear fellow citizens, I propose a new Digital System of conducting business in India. This will not only augment government revenue but will also ease inter-state as well as intra-state business. And it is simple. Ant it is cost effective. And it reduces required time drastically. The same is attached herewith. Best Regards, Jayprakash M Tiwari
