i think indian languages can play a positive in integration, more we respect indian languages more we integrate.

Our diverse cultural and heritage can be brought to the students by changing their institutions across India. That is, a course of 5 year duration can be split into 10 semesters and each semester taught at different institutions at different states. There should be an annual Youth festival open to all to compete with national grading. This system provides specialised modular institutions and make better interaction with people of all states and acquaintance with people.

I would request you to add "Battle of Saragarhi" in the school curriculum since this battle is considered as one of the most & best battle in the world. European countries has acknowledged this as one of the best battle. Then We should not hesitate to add it in our curriculum. The sad part is that lot of people don't have any knowledge about this battle. I would sincerely request you to add it so that our next generation know about the bravery of their ancestors.

#CharacterEducation is the need for the present & future generation. #MaterialEducation comes next which must not be ignored too as whats being done in Mutts & Olden Gurukulams. Try establishing #ModernGurukulams where children are taught Vedic Lessons, Modern science, Spoken English, Yoga, Selfdefense & Classical Singing/Dancing. The outcome of these Modern Gurukulams must be Highly Educated, Disciplined Children with the concept of #VasudeivaKudumbakam in their minds.

The syllabus and curriculum at primary and secondary level schools must include local history,local art,local fairs,traditions,festivals,dances,music,other traditional modes of entertainment.Reading Indian history without knowing Regional History is of no use.Children should be made aware to take pride in being Indian.

Language is important if you study science subjects. If you can study subjects in our own language it is better to understand and the students will be more creative. So every science and technology text books including higher education course should be translated to Hindi and other Indian languages for students, this will give more output than following this colonial education system.

Dear all I think in our education system should have a common syllabus all over India rather than state and central syllabus. From 1st standard itself teach at least three languages ( Regional language, Hindi and English). From 1st std to 4th std the medium should be regional language, and 5th to 8th std the medium should be Hindi and higher to that i.e. from 8th std there should have two options Hindi and English. Because language is important if you study science subjects.
