To work on research based education in India , we need to understand the education system of education followed in India before British implemented their system of studies in middle of 19th Century .Sitting in class rooms on chairs and benches, with tie , belt and shoes , learning by rote, appearing in annual exams was never the Indian system of education. We followed Gurukul system with moderate number of students per Guru, with class rooms without walls and inquiry based learning.

I feel the core of teaching is the Teacher, hence to promote research and innovation we need to train teachers. Today Teaching is a last resort job for many with the poor salaries only adding to the woes. A well trained teacher can teach even under a tree. let us not forget that it was in a remote govt school in Rameshwaram, where a teacher took his students to the beach to teach aerodynamics by observing seagulls, where a scientist like Abdul kalam was born. He was among those students.

We should focus in capacity building by training teachers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) subject areas at school & higher education level. Our Govt should facilitate public-private partnerships to achieve education and skill development priority and huge target of employability. governance should address framework, better quality, unbiased & robust regulation and communication on increased community participation at each level of learning.

Firstly we have to improve the education quality & infrastructures in Government schools and also bond the employees of Central & State level to teach their children's in government schools. The quality & infrastructure will automatically increased.

My concern is about the small kids who are under 3 years and the pressure which parents are forced to put on them to get an admission in a good school. When it's the time for them to play and they are forced to learn things which might be too early for them by joining interview classes. schools these days ask for hefty donations. This is a very serious growing problem where education has started becoming a huge profit making business. This issue needs a serious attention.

Throw the students in the society. They will come to know practical problems of the society. Give that as a research topic. Innovations will come without spending much money

First intake the researchers based on their capacity and not based on the reservations. Spend 5% GDP for research. Then all countries will be behind us
