Though there are many govt research departments and centers, very little relevant research comes out of them. In addition, many education colleges and institutes struggle for funding and direction on Indian-relevant research. Each govt department or center must sign up a MoU in full public view with at least one education institute to work on relevant, time bound research. This would help these govt departments to get people to work on, while the education institutes will get funding and direction

Research and innovation is good. But, this simple thing is killing higher education in India. Teachers work only for submitting research papers for journals and other for getting good salary. They are not teaching at all! Neither UGC nor AICTE has a solution for the above problem. Research and education together will not improve higher education!

As it was shown in movie "3 idiots" in any institutions no body is talking about research & new things. Students are only there for marks and very less innovative actions are taken in institutes. For research and innovative ideas a student should supported to work with expert people so that he/she can bring their ideas ahead. As a student the mindset is limited but with the experience guide the innovation can be take ahead to patent and can be used for society using business skills.

I am an entrepreneur and associated myself with Higher Education Research in my individual capacity without no support and have helped in conducting many Conferences with Law, Medical, Arts, Science , Management, Engineering Universities. I believe there should be a rule to use Digital Automation Technology in conducting Conferences with Abstract as still Staff use the Brochure and manual methods which does not promote standards and devoid of Quality. I can be reached at skumar@mypadacademia.com

There is a significant outflow of Publication Fees to reputed Journals outside of India: 1. Create Journals of International standards and let Researchers from India and other countries contributes to these Journals. Over the period we can beat other reputed Journals. 2. Use of Digital Technology in Manuscript submission and Peer review. - Current status is very bad as the attitude of the older generation is still in the paper & ink category.Need a policy overhaul Promoting Conferencesdigitally
