ICT can potentially make significant difference in improving the quality of education. The National Policy of ICT in School Education envisions and provides for the development of a holistic framework of ICT support in the school system. While there have several ways in which ICT in schools are being implemented, we need to optimally use and leverage technology to achieve quality and efficiency in all of the interventions. Under this theme, we need to find solutions on how best technology can be leveraged for both school and adult education and share best practices, if any.

in schools computers are given, but special lab. rooms are not available. so provede special rooms and smart class also. ccc pass certificate is not important give training to handle smart class of only 20 students. only 20 students not more.

Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) if used in an efficient & judicious manner, can facilitate not only the acquisition of knowledge, but provide variety of education solutions. ICT can be used effectively for enhancing classroom transactions,driving innovation and creativity, and outreach programs in the communities. The recent trend of crowd sourcing learning resources brings so many perspectives and enriched learning materials.

In today's computing age the knowledge of the subject has got imperative with the changing trends. The reach and penetration of computers in our day today life has gone up tremendously and have aided in the development of children's familiarity with gadgets and computers at an early age. the formal learning of computer science can be made more interesting and easy if the scope of the subject and knowledge are imparted in a student friendly and innovative manner.

The role and importance of computer cannot be ignored in today's era. No wonder it has been made integral part of the education right from an early age. Small children operating the gadgets effortlessly is common sight these days. Be it the remote control of TV set, keys of cellphones or gaming consoles - kids can navigate through them all with amazing ease and dexterity. The reach and penetration of computer in our day today lives has gone up tremendously.

आज हर मनुष्य यह तो चाहता है कि देश को महात्मा गांधी लाल बहादुर शास्त्री जैसे देश भक्तों एवं विवेकानंद जैसे धार्मिक महापुरुषों की आवश्क्ता है जो समाज को विकसित कर सकें और भारत देश को पुन: विश्व गुरु का दर्जा दिला सकें परंतु "यह कौन माता पिता चाहता है कि वो महात्मा गांधी, लाल बहादुर शास्त्री और विवेकानंद जैसी महान जीवात्मा मेरे घर में पैदा हों" ? कारण क्या है केवल एक कि आज कि शिक्षा तो विद्या का रूप देना पड़ेगा जिसमे सत्य अहिंसा और धर्म का स्थान होना अनिवार्य है जो लुप्त हो चुका है ।

इसे प्राइमरी स्तर से लागु करने की जरुरत है सभी प्राइमरी स्कूलों में कंप्यूटर शिक्षा अनिवार्य कर देनी चाहिए और इनके लिए टीचर की नियुक्ति भी कर देनी चाहिए जिससे भारत में डिजिटल क्रांति आ सके और व्यस्क शिक्षा के लिए भी पहले ग्रामीण इलाको से शुरू कर देनी चाहिए जितनी जल्द हो सके इसके लिए पायलट प्रोजेक्ट के तौर पर उत्तर प्रदेश और बिहार में पिछड़े इलाको में प्राथमिक विद्यालयों से शुरू कर देना चाहिए
