In most of the teacher training curriculum in India, we have seen a mundane component named IT/ICT for teachers. To some extent it is convincing that it improves the teaching learning experiences. But they seldom have many other component such as technology evaluation and forecasting in the field education or the economics of cost and benefit in technology adaptation

Can't we finally call the bluff off the highly misguiding 'RESERVATIONS POLICY'? History is evident, only a section of 'Creamy Layer' has benefited and continues to do so with this policy in effect. Even the Supreme Court in one of its decisions has advised its admonition. Can't we do this right now with a majority government at the helm and open all avenues to all, so that 'MERITOCRACY' finally rules the roost and ultimately benefits the nation at large?

Knowledge and skill-based education is the need of hour undoubtedly. However, should we only strive to build up a generation of money-making machines (in the guise of humans)? Or should we equally strive for a value-based society as well? And to ensure that, we need to seriously factor in 'MORAL SCIENCE' as en essential subject right upto Class 10, at the least. Unless we have morally sound children today, how will we ensure morally sound adults in future? How then do we deter them from crimes?

ICT has not yet reached to every school in India, the reason behind this, infrastructure management and setup is under local hands e.g. principal, pradhan and BSA who has their own vetted interests, all Infrastructure to every school should be handled separately by board or separate department and again it should come under Audit system, where local people and parents feedback is taken seriously.

India needs its own search engine for the effective quality learning of information technology .Nowadays, the famous search engine Google itself doesn't implement safe search effectively for the Indian local languages. Then how can we be comfortable in handing over the internet enabled gadgets to our innocent kids? local language searches are rendering the adult contents even for very basic search words. Google doesn't seems to care even if those sites are reported to be filtered.
