Sir, It's really a great idea to have waterways, a cheap transport, with the same tourism through waterways will be excellent. India has a lot of scope for water sport also. The proposal can be a part of clean Ganga mission. The possibilities of raising fund through the Public/Corporate s/Institutions can be explore. This can be a mission of minimum for 10 millions Indians to rope in through Social Workers/Organisation/ Clubs. We can have responsibility to enroll One Lac people. Regards.

initially this electric system will be termed as anti religion but hope after being aware of its benefits people will start using it. we can not only save the Holy Ganga but also millions of trees those had been cut down for the traditional cremation system.

what we people can do to clean ganga!!! we can neither stop industrial waste nor establish drainage treatment plants. as these required big resources, technology, money. BUT we can stop our traditional funeral system, it should be replaced by electric funeral as electric system is Quick, less expensive and eco friendly. we can establish such system ourselves on the Ganga ghats of our locality without government help. after establishment we can aware them of its benefits. hope it can contribute..

Respected Hon'ble Prime Minister Sir, about the International Yoga Day, I feel that Baba Ram Dev should be given a high award, for he is a great Master of Yoga, meditation and his teachings, discourses are very lucid, clear.On that special day,a unique SATELLITE could be launched, named SHIVA or PATANJALI. Emissaries from all Faiths should be sent out to spread spiritualism, to teach medidation, which can temper minds: Hindu Sikh Christian Sufi Jain Bahai etc.Just sharing ideas in small way.

Active involvement of people residing on the banks of Maa Ganga will make this effort a great success. They are well aware of the polluting sources and can directly help Govt. authorities to plug such points. A panchayat level committee should be formed under the chairmanship of DM to monitor the activities in the area and progress achieved in controlling the pollutants. This will ultimately help clean Ganga for ever.
