गंगा को साफ़ की मुहीम पहले हर एक घर से जो गंगा नदी के किनारे या निकटम बसे है। उनकी घर से आने वाली गन्दगी को गंगा में ना बहा कर किसी नाले के द्वारा कही दूसरे स्थान को परिवर्तित करा जाये। दूसरा मेहत्वपूर्ण कार्य यह होगा की जीतनी भी प्रदुषण फेलाने वाली करखाने है और उनसे निकलने वाला विषेला कचरे को भी दूसरे स्थान पे परिवर्तित करना होगा।या फिर उनको गंगा के तट से दूर कही अपना कारखाना खोलना होगा। एक ACT की जरूरत है जो ये नियम प्रदर्शित करे की गंगे को प्रदूषित करना कानूनी अपराध है।
