In the past three years, the Government has endeavoured to remove corruption in every form and technology presents itself as one of the most potent tools. But, technological interventions work when the interventions are simple, transparent and include a public feedback mechanism. Utilising advancements in technology, the Government is following a multi-pronged strategy to tackle the problem in an effective manner

1. Transferring benefits directly to beneficiaries
2. Making government procurements transparent
3. Digitization of service deliveries
4. Promoting Cashless Transactions
5. Jan Bhagidari
6. Open Government Data

Direct Benefit Transfer was a significant step towards plugging leakages. Amount transferred via DBT is increasing and leakages are reducing. The government has laid equal emphasis on citizens getting Aadhaar. The Jan Dhan-Aadhaar-Mobile (JAM) trinity will bring complete accountability in monetary transactions and eliminate ghost beneficiaries.

Additionally, Government e-Marketplace (GeM) was launched to make government procurements simple and transparent, eliminating any scope of corruption. Faceless e-assessment for income tax payers introduced from 2018 was another important step. Tax officers now communicate with the taxpayers through the ‘E-Proceeding' facility which reduces human interface.

The fight against corruption is a long and arduous one. Various online platforms have been introduced by the government, wherein the citizens can join forces with them by sharing their feedback and views. The decision to involve the honest citizens of our country in the fight increases the strength of the force against corruption to a great extent.

In the same vein, MyGov invites citizens to share their ideas on how technology can be used to uproot corruption and suggest innovations to fight the malice in an effective manner. Ideas and suggestions can be provided in the form of a comment below or by attaching a PDF document.

Corruption ye koi badi baat nahi kyu ki aaj ke time sabhi corrupt hai kya janta or kya hamare desh ke leaders, police etc.. Ise rokna to sabhi chahte hai per khud badalna nahi.or kyu badle kyu ki hamare desh ka sabse bada durbhagya hi yahi hai ki yaha chor to maze karta hai or honest man bhukha marta hai kyu ki yaha ki neeti hi yahi hai. maff karna sir galat lag raha ho to per mere man me jo hai wo likh raha hun. abhi baat puri nahi hai kyu isse jyada likhne ke isme or words ki limit nahi hai.

In the recent events that occurred against cryptocurrencies and specially Bitcoin, it is safe to say that people are scared of this potentially a transparent technology. Hence, to use the blockchain technology to bring transparency to the whole government system will directly lead to uproot the corruption and bring it down. Use Blockchain technology ideals to bring transparency of all the government related transaction and sharing of documents and papers, etc. Please read about blockchain tech.

“Techno-Spirituality is an apt term. The problem is with the VALUE SYSTEM of the persons concerned and Definitely NOT with the Cilliteracy, or Cutting-Edge Technologies, or for that matter State-of-Art Anti-Virus softwares or Fire walls A BLADE can be used to cut vegetables or to slit throats.Corruption (like Sadism – a deranged mental state) is in the MINDS of the persons concerned & Definitely NOT in the presence or absence of Technology. Punjab National Bank SCAM is the Latest/Best example.

1. Discretionery power should be reduced. 2. Time bound reply to be given by the concerned officials. 3. Necessary disciplinary action against the person who delayed action. 4. Someone should be accountable for delay/non action.
