According to new norms of National Council for Teacher Education who have not qualified NET or Ph.D. can teach in teacher education colleges and by implementing this decision in future we are ruining the quality of future teachers and indirectly students.

Training and Evaluation in B.Ed colleges should be tough and only qualified and well trained people should be placed in schools.

Teachers should go for atleast a two weeks training every year. Most of our teachers blindly follow the text books and chalk & talk method. They are not involving the children in activity based education. Instead, our teachers are still following the flash card method for early childhood education. Like Finland, if teachers are given good salary and respect, talented people would opt teaching as their profession.

like in corporate sector where employees have definite job profile, teachers should also have definite profile. some may be extremely good in teaching but not so good in evaluation or managing cultural programs. Every teacher should not be expected to do everything. This will definitely help in getting quality work by teachers without over burdening them.

As the adage goes 'a healthy mind in a healthy body', the mind and body of a human should be kept fit. The duty of keeping the body fit lies with a family physician, the duty of keeping the mind fit lies with the class teacher. Both doctors and teachers, in my opinion' are the main pillars for a healthy society. At least in these two fields there should not be reservations nor a minimum percentage of 35% for selection to these posts.Diagnosis, is again the most important task of a teacher.

Teachers in India do not have autonomy for their craft(teaching), neither they prepare curriculum for their learners whom they teach, following blindly the curriculum guidelines which do not correlate with learners' environment. There should be a place for teacher's development in New Education policy.
