Competence of teachers and their motivation is crucial for improving the quality. Several initiatives are being taken for addressing teacher shortages, shortages of secondary school teachers in mathematics, science and languages, improving the quality of pre-service teachers and in-service teachers professional development, enhancing the status of teaching as a profession, improving teachers’ motivation and their accountability for ensuring learning outcomes, and improving the quality of teacher educators. The objective of this theme is to assess the existing scenario and provide workable solutions to address the gamut of issues in teacher education in the school sector.

Children: I have never been learnt "How to learn". Teacher : But I am telling you always "What to learn". Children: Then Teacher: You will be knowledgeable. Children: Means encyclopaedia of all subjects. Then what will we do? How we contribute in development of our country? Teacher : You have to think upon it deeply. Children: But what is thinking? We have never tried on it. You wrote, you told, and we grasp and reproduce in examination. We have never get chance to think...

Children: Are we the children learning? Teacher : I am saying I am teaching you in best way. I am not saying that whether you are learning or not. It is your problem.

Now a days, Our country having Very Highly educated peoples then before. But the growth is not proportional to the count of them. What is the problem and where it is? The problem is like a “Air filled balloon with a pin hole”. So, the teachers must be responsible for there works and duties for the nation and social atmosphere. For this, A teachers should be a IDOL of Patients, Humanity, Simplicity and Truthfulness.

I think, there is very higly educated persons we are having these days in our country then before. but the growth is not proportional to the count of the educated peoples.

Only education is not enough for the growth, because a uneducated/illiterate person can easily be trapped or they will never harm deeply, but an educated person can harm deeply and they will never be trapped, because of there high knowledge & intelligence skills. Presently, what is going in every area of our social or national atmosphere.

It is important to appoint a qualified person as a teacher, but it is very important the person having the quality of patients, simplicity, humanity & truthfulness. Only Education without these qualities a individual like a “Air filled balloon with a pin hole”. It is a question of our social/national image, culture & character.

अध्ययन-अध्यापन का कार्य ऐसे गुरुजन बन्धुओं को सौपना चाहिए जो झूठ-बेइमानी-चोरी-छल-कपट आसक्ति-ममता-स्वार्थ से परे हों अथवा इन्हें हर हालत में छोड़कर ईमान-सच्चाई-संयम-सेवा को धारण कर चुके हो| ‘दोष रहित सत्य प्रधान मुक्ति और अमरता से युक्त सर्वोत्तम जीवन विधान और अमन-चैन का सुखी समृद्ध समाज स्थापित करने हेतु गुरुजन बन्धुओं को सबसे पहली तथा सबसे बड़ी जिम्मेदारी अपने ऊपर लेनी और उसे सुचारुरूप से वहन करनी चाहिये ।
