Competence of teachers and their motivation is crucial for improving the quality. Several initiatives are being taken for addressing teacher shortages, shortages of secondary school teachers in mathematics, science and languages, improving the quality of pre-service teachers and in-service teachers professional development, enhancing the status of teaching as a profession, improving teachers’ motivation and their accountability for ensuring learning outcomes, and improving the quality of teacher educators. The objective of this theme is to assess the existing scenario and provide workable solutions to address the gamut of issues in teacher education in the school sector.

Language training must be given by native speakers to ensure correct accent and style. If not enough trained personals available, then multi media tools can be used as aid. Qualification to become a teacher in the pre-primary and primary school must be very high. Clinical psychology must be part of their training.

समाज में सबसे अधिक महत्त्व एवं साधन सुविधायें, यदि किसी को दिया जाता है तो उसमें सबसे प्रमुख एवं सबसे अधिक हमारे गुरुजन बन्धुओं को ही मिलनी चाहिये ताकि उनका मस्तिष्क सदा ही निश्चिन्तता पूर्वक अध्यापन में ही लगा रहे। प्रत्येक समाज में अध्यापक बन्धुओं को आदर एवं सम्मान दिया जाना चाहिये ।

अध्ययन-अध्यापन का कार्य ऐसे गुरुजन बन्धुओं को सौपना चाहिए जो झूठ-बेइमानी-चोरी-छल-कपट आसक्ति-ममता-स्वार्थ से परे हों अथवा इन्हें हर हालत में छोड़कर ईमान-सच्चाई-संयम-सेवा को धारण कर चुके हो| ‘दोष रहित सत्य प्रधान मुक्ति और अमरता से युक्त सर्वोत्तम जीवन विधान और अमन-चैन का सुखी समृद्ध समाज स्थापित करने हेतु गुरुजन बन्धुओं को सबसे पहली तथा सबसे बड़ी जिम्मेदारी अपने ऊपर लेनी और उसे सुचारुरूप से वहन करनी चाहिये ।

गुरुजन बन्धुओं को सर्वप्रथम तो स्वतः यह संकल्प लेना होगा कि हम ‘सद्भाव एवं सद्व्यवहार प्रधान शिष्ट एवं संयमित जीवन को ही आधार बना, चलते-चलाते हुए ‘सत्यं प्रधान शिष्ट एवं संयमित जीवन को ही आधार बना, चलते-चलाते हुए, ‘सत्यं बद्, धर्मं चर’ (सत्य बोलें और धर्म पर रहें-चलें !) जो जीवन का सर्वोत्तम लक्ष्य है, को ही एकमात्र लक्ष्य बनाकर आगे-पढे़-पढ़ायेंगे बढ़े बढ़ायेंगे|निष्काम कर्म की पद्धति को प्रभावी तरीके से लागू करना-कराना चाहिए ।सच्चे सम्पन्न-विकसित नागरिकता हेतु निष्कामी कर्मचारी अधिकारी होना चाहिए!

Teachers are not a notes delivery system now in this digital age notes can be delivered by mail or any infrastructure school seems good.But teacher should get more time focussing on subject rather dictating the question and answers which would come in exams.

Teachers want to teach with their full capabilites but with certain problems they cant- 1.Certain documenting work like attendance management, marks uploading,notes copies checking can be minimized with currently working automation systems. 2.Strict timings of schools are fair for student but teacher should be allowed to take leave after his/her lectures are finished for the day(benefit for lady teachers). 3.Lectures of top universities of teachers' subject should be provided like nptel.

1. Quality of teachers is must. They must be trained psychologically. 2. The teacher should get deep regard in the society. 3. Teachers during their professional training must be given technology based training.
