In the past few months we all have worked in conjunction towards making Tumakuru a Smart City. The citizen feedback received in Stage 1 and 2 of this Challenge have been carefully analyzed to articulate the vision, goals and prioritized Area Based Development & PAN City projects proposed in the Smart City Proposal.

As part of the process for Round 3 Citizen Engagement, Tumakuru City Corporation is inviting everyone related to Tumakuru for your feedback as well as valuable suggestions on the proposal.

Helicopters or mini drones can be an important source of support to the teams on the ground.The microdrones UAV range is quickest,more cost effective and just as successful alternative.

There is good scope for extending coverage to slum dwellers and homeless under the Smart City project, hence making the development all-inclusive.

Tele-education can be implemented with the help of mobile phones,windows tablet and computer in schools,colleges and for public awareness programmes

As we all see the city of Tumkur is growing bigger from past days,we should have better law enforcement applications and amenities so that we can cope up

The city has the presence of 22 notified slum clusters, plus some non-notified ones. There are ongoing slum development schemes, both in-situ and ex-situ, under the AMRUT programme.
