In the past few months we all have worked in conjunction towards making Tumakuru a Smart City. The citizen feedback received in Stage 1 and 2 of this Challenge have been carefully analyzed to articulate the vision, goals and prioritized Area Based Development & PAN City projects proposed in the Smart City Proposal.

As part of the process for Round 3 Citizen Engagement, Tumakuru City Corporation is inviting everyone related to Tumakuru for your feedback as well as valuable suggestions on the proposal.

An even more diverse rating is within Smart People. One can see that the very good rating on the level of characteristics is mainly caused by the very good performance in the factor social and ethnic plurality.

For being a smart city,it should use digital technologies,information technologies and communication technologies to enhance quality and performance of urban services to reduce costs and resource consumption.

The growth of supply of housing almost meets the rate of population growth. Increasingly, lower- and middle- income people can find housing in areas that are conveniently located.

Three factors, economic image, productivity and international embeddedness are extraordinary well rated while the other three are closer to the average but still above.

Luxembourg has in every characteristic a rating above average. Especially in Smart Economy is Luxembourg far above the average of all 70 cities. Still, even in this characteristic we can see a different picture when zooming on the level of factors
