In the past few months we all have worked in conjunction towards making Tumakuru a Smart City. The citizen feedback received in Stage 1 and 2 of this Challenge have been carefully analyzed to articulate the vision, goals and prioritized Area Based Development & PAN City projects proposed in the Smart City Proposal.

As part of the process for Round 3 Citizen Engagement, Tumakuru City Corporation is inviting everyone related to Tumakuru for your feedback as well as valuable suggestions on the proposal.

The city aspires to have clean, green environment with ample greens and recreational spaces for children and the elderly. The city also aspires to have linear greens and interactive greens along the transport corridors, live and work areas

The Fig. 5: City sample and total rating The darker the colour the better the rating rating for Smart Mobility is very good in cities from Benelux countries and Denmark. Smart Environment is fairly different from the total rating. French, Slovenian and Greek cities as well as Timisoara achieve top ratings in this characteristic.

The app includes following features, the different tourism places, its importance,distance,transport systems,lodging & boarding,different packages for tour.

Smart People is led by Scandinavian cities as well as Dutch cities and Luxembourg. Again Scandinavian and also Austrian cities achieve a very good rating in Smart Governance.

Within the respective characteristics a similar picture can be recognised. Still, also some differences appear. The best rating in Smart Economy achieve Luxembourg, British, Irish and Danish cities as well as Eindhoven, Regensburg, Ljubljana and Linz.
