India has a rich legacy of practices and knowledge touching different spheres of life and a scientific heritage traversing various Science & Technology (S&T) domains. The traditional knowledge of India is available in various forms such as classical texts, manuscripts and/or as oral communication that has been passed on over thousands of years. This valuable knowledge is often part of our daily practices as well. Some of the traditional practices are livelihood means of the concerned knowledge holders. Our traditional practices exist in synergy between human needs and nature, often balancing resources and requirements in a local context. However, with time, India’s Traditional Knowledge Systems are eroding rapidly, and the nation has also been witnessing erosion in people’s faith towards our traditional knowledge. A grave concern is the mindless attitude of some to mimic non-Indian cultures and disdain for our traditions. It’s important to recognize that traditional heritage is an integral part of any country’s development and progression. This calls for necessary attention and action from the concerned stakeholders in the country to build further on our scientific inheritance. Only a well-informed and balanced society can drive the advancement of the country.

Under the visionary leadership of our Hon’ble Prime Minister and President, CSIR Society, Shri Narendra Modi, the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) is spearheading the efforts to collaborate with the relevant partners from across the country and implement the national initiative SVASTIK (Scientifically Validated Societal Traditional Knowledge) for communicating India’s traditional knowledge to the society. CSIR-National Institute of Science Communication and Policy Research (CSIR-NIScPR) is the nodal organization to implement this national initiative.

The prime mission of the initiative is to conserve scientifically validated traditional practices, and instil confidence in citizens regarding the scientific values of our traditional knowledge/practices.

We invite the suggestions of academicians, researchers, subject-matter experts, students, NGOs, and the public on how to instil confidence in society about our traditional knowledge and practices. This will help us in our mission to inculcate a scientific temper and instil confidence in citizens by stimulating the Science-Scientist-Society connect towards our traditional knowledge and practices.

Hon PM Shri Modi Ji I have immense love for 🇮🇳 but the opinion on the leaders & GOI has changed. We say hoist flag at every home. Sir, where is the independence seen in reality? still we are under the Mordern Day Slavery. GOI, it's officers, Ministers & Executive leaders facilities such slavery & endorses it. Evidence is seen from the negligence despite I gave you & GOI enough proof of morden day slavery by a Bangladeshi Airline company. But none of you took action on this airline. From 2016 they have been involved in such activities in Indian soil, they continue to treat our people as slaves in the name of employment. It's utter failure of the GOI in ensuring that such company given permission follows & respect India, its people., They continue to treat Indian as slaves. Sir, despite you being in power for 08 years, why Bangladeshi Airline is supported? why you can't act on wrong doer?, why GOI fears? people don't have money, ur failure encourage others to treat Indians as slaves.

आदरणीय प्रधानमंत्रीजी, भारत देश में हमें बहॉट सारी विविधता देक्खने मिलती है। भारत के सभी राज्यों की अपनी अपनी परंपरा, इतिहास, कला, संस्कृती, भाषा, और नैसर्गक विविधता देखने को मिलती है। मै महाराष्ट्र से आता हूं। महाराष्ट्र को संतो की भूमि कहा जाता है। प्राचीन काल से राज्य में विविध परंपरा चली आ रही है। पंढरपुर की वारी की परम्परा, गणेश उस्टव, धार्मिक पर्यटन, नैसर्गिक पर्यटन इत्यादि। ये और ऐसी बाहोट सारी विविधता महाराष्ट्र में मिलती है। इस तरह है देश के हर एक राज्य मै हमें वहां की स्थानीय परंपरा, कला, संस्कृती देखने को मिलती है। और हमें इन सबका श्रद्धापूर्वक आदर करना चाहिए।।। धन्यवाद

Hon PM ji, Morden Day Slavery remain till date in India at high. No one is able to question the wrong doers in our country. If everyone only need to go to court & get justice when will the common man will get justice, after 15 to 20 years getting justice what's the use? What is Govt of India doing? Simple logic who gives companies to operate business in India? court or Govt of India? if Permission is granted by GOI who is supposed to ensure these companies follows the Indian system, rules, regulations, procedures? Govt of India or court? whose failure it is for not having control over the companies granted permission by GOI. Especially Bangladeshi Airline, when you grant permission you make a mutual agreement but they have completely violated, despite giving all evidences none in GOI able to act saying we don't have power go to court. Whose inability it is? common citizen of India or the officials, Ministers & Leaders? what's the use if common man continue to suffer in our country 🇮🇳

Allow by law MBBS doctors to study ayurveda unani and siddha medicine as two year PG and practice in major hospitals. Allow ayush doctors to write diagnostic tests and use the results in their practice. they need to go in for certificate course in diagnostics. create diagnostic clinical instruments for ayush doctors via innovation by multidisciplinary teams

My ideas are: 1.Govt should introduce traditional courses on clothing,culture from kindergarten level. 2.Govt should allow only traditional dress in offices for men (kurta,vesti only) and women(Saree n chudidar only) no western dress. 3.Govt should ban actors promoting foreign cultures. 4.Social media awareness 5.Banning entry to religious places if wearing western clothes. 6.Removing coat and suit cultures because it's of no use to our climate only allowing sweater. 7.By banning coloring of dresses and allowing only white dress. 8.By improving awarenes of our Ayurvedic practices AYUSH should be of first choice instead of English medicine. 9.By introducing courses like AYUSH MBBS and increasing practises. 10.By recognising native medicines from every district and villages. 11.Compulsory one AYUSH Govt hospitals in every villages and districts 12.Promoting Arts and science course in AYUSH 13.One compulsory AYUSH Doctor similar to One English doctor in all Govt Offices. 14.Affordable

Dear and Hon PM Shri Narendra Modi ji, National flag has been always been personal than formal for me. Infact I am the one who repeatedly mentioned in all forums to promote our national flag as a symbol of patriotism. Sir, my grievance against wrong doing Bangladeshi airlinel ref PMOPG/E/2022/0172917 it has been 250 days ( 08 months, 08 days) passed without good governance results, This airline practices slavery administration in Indian soil, despite I had given all evidences against all kinds of malpractices and injustice done by this airline in Indian soil, Sir your leadership has failed to deliver justice. I had written many letters asking your intervention to show what is max governance rather I saw only max Govt attitude. Each time I write the cases are closed in favour of wrong doing airline. Sir, if you don't provide Good Governance results. I will host RED colour flag as a symbol of Slavery, Pain & Ignorance. Deeply hurt as I trusted your leadership, justice denied by GOI

Assam is full of traditions and culture. Assamese people food habbits speaks about tradition. Traditional food of Assam is indigenous cooking system is purely helps in balanced dieting. Governement dhould take active steps in indigeneous food promotion aling with indigeneous food productoon culture.

Respected Readers, With this area of instilling confidence in society about our traditional knowledge and practices, using Artists that can create Artwork presence in any form via paintings, sculptures, signposts, music, events and digital or non-digital presence will do the job and provide jobs. Creating an industry out of this would also help the employment cause. Making it transcend religious divides will help co-existence and improve harmony within communities. Less investment will be needed on security department on the long-term in a way if wisdom is shared via artwork instead of mere entertainment. These works can be extended anywhere since creativity is limitless! As long as the work provides more harmony and positivity in the society, this will be a win for all states!

Namaste 🙏 भारतवर्ष का गौरवान्वित इतिहास केवल समय बता सकता है, फिर भी यहा की कला संस्कृति, सभ्यता आज भी विश्व मे अविश्वसनीय है। संगीत, सौर विज्ञान, चिकित्सा के बारे मे हजारो साल पहले कुछ आज की सटीक जानकारिया बता दी गई थी, भारत का निर्माण ही गौरवपूर्ण है।

India, our Motherland, is rich in traditional and cultural heritage....we can carry forward this in a more broader and profitable way by involving more of its citizens...all those who fail academic education has little known educational options (known by general public i mean)......if major non-academic Universities that involve certified courses in sculpture, handicrafts, traditional arts courses which involve education and marketing around local areas (universities which have major complexes for regular exhibitions that sell out to local market etc) it might be a good career option for them.....though they are present in few numbers, these universities should be like other common colleges reaching out every nook and corner of India. Immediate reach from their residence, and marketing and income would encourage more to get involved in our traditional arts and crafts education......This would be a boon to rural areas where mostly agriculture or free subsidence from govt is only income.
