11. Bamboo is said to the high profit-making industry of future and is one of the highly renewable resources in the Indian socio-economic-cultural-ecological-climatic-functional context with more than 1,500 recorded uses. Besides its role as a material for consumer products, it also has great potential as an industrial raw material. It is often considered to be a replacement of wood and industrial raw materials in both modern industrial and traditional cottage sectors. Therefore, Atma nirbhar Bharat campaign should be promoted in tribal areas and training on bamboo-based industries to be given to them. Raw materials for this will be easily available in the remote tribal area. Bamboo products are distributed to both domestic and export markets. The domestic market is segmented for furniture and handicraft. The high-quality products are directed to high-end markets while low- quality ones are sold to low-and-medium income consumers.

Integration of the TPDS - Targeted public distribution system of the govt of India for APL (may be allowed to purchase)/BPL and alike populations with articles and products that can be produced using laghu udyogs (gram udyog yojanas) for tribal regions based ultra small scale industries.
It was done for milk which created amul co - operatives and domestic papads etc created by lijjat gram udyog.
Govt can provide product marketing and sales support via govt block and panchayat level agencies for even commerical product placement after quality certification in addition to selling these via the TPDS shops.
There can even be allotment of a specific type of product that can be made locally in that area and suffices local needs to interested participants and then training be provided to create small scale units for such products by interested and participating tribal populations (nutritional and otherwise for domestic needs e.g. carry bags).
