Tribal development forms the foundation for the economic growth of a nation which carries with it a substantial portion of the tribal population. Supporting the native tradition is the key to building a strong community and a healthy economy. With 8% of the population of India belonging to the Scheduled Tribe it becomes critical for the government to safeguard their interest and promote their livelihood. TRIFED the Government of India established organization, supported by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs has been a security net for the tribes across the nation for over 30 years now. It has taken several initiatives for socio-economic welfare and empowerment of tribal communities through capability building, marketing, distribution, packaging, and other supporting activities.

Inhabiting the remotest parts of the country and being reserved, poses several problems for the community as well as the government in assisting their growth

• Dwelling in the Natural Habitat they carry a wealth of knowledge in plants, forest produces as well as ancient herbs, which is tantamount to that of an expert. With efficient support, this can be developed further to generate significant income for the community
• There has been an increase in the rate of unemployment among schedule tribes in the past few years owing to the lack of connection to the mainstream market
• Despite having been given reservations by the central government, residing in rural areas have posed difficulty for them in making the most of the benefits offered
• Members of the tribal community have made noteworthy contributions to the nation right from our struggle for freedom to the field of Healthcare, Education, and Technology. This shows that the community holds the potential to thrive under proper guidance

Taking the aforesaid points into consideration, TRIFED has committed itself to ensuring the all-around welfare of the Indian tribes. This is not limited to just inculcating entrepreneurial skills among them or having built an exclusive brand “Tribes India” for them but extends to establishing Van DhanKendras, providing awareness about vaccination for Covid, providing vocational training, and organizing Trade Fairs on a massive scale. The recent decision to observe the 15th November-the birth anniversary of tribal icon BirsaMunda as “Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas” is praiseworthy and TRIFED would unveil The National Tribal Festival “Aadi Mahotsav” on the following day to commemorate it. This festival is not only a platform for the tribal artisans to showcase their valuable skills but the revenue that it generates for the community is of utmost significance.

TRIFED under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi has been constantly pushing and coming up with reformed measures to realize the mission of Atmanirbhar Bharat by improving the quality of tribal produce, providing technological up-gradation, assisting in research & development and is now keen to see the suggestions of field experts, students, business leaders, social activists, subject-matter experts and all the contributors to this field in order to expedite its mission of economic development of Tribals.

tell them about online marketing because today genaration used mobile phones and due to covid online marketing is at top level nd also no cash payment they have also knowledge about online payment growing our ecenomy by following make in india which increase the value of india product nd also helpful for the small scale workers . not only aware to the small tribals but also aware our new genaration for avoiding other countries products .

Create small sections of tribal and rural areas into one single productive section and train them to do better handloom, biodegradable products and utensils. Then train them to sell and marketing online through international online retailers. This will improve their income and livelihood. This will improve rural economy.

A government institution should be formed to look out and discuss upon various entrepreneurial ideas suggested by to-be tribal entrepreneurs and fund the appropriate ideas adequately. This will create a more than robust tribal economy in our country. Believe me there are many such to-be entrepreneurs waiting to contribute in our country's progress with brilliant ideas but no funds to turn those ideas into success.

It's easier said than done. We can say thousands of ways to improve vocal4local campaign. But it has to be done and also on a concurrent basis. So whenever any prize distribution is done, any honorary is given, lets use the products or things produced by the local tribals. Right from school, many people are getting prizes like shield, and a sort of this. These are useful but it will not make us aware of the locally produced handicrafts. Schools, Colleges, Universities, Government honorary - if all switch to the use of products produced or sold by the tribals and locally made products, then definitely our next generation will become aware of these precious things and we can also support the tribals.

To all the respected dignitaries reading this. Since ages we know how the women have been discriminated in this patriarchal society’. They have not been given the chance to develop intellectually though times are changing in urban communities still the problem remains persistent in the rural areas but this has to change for a better , satisfied nation . One solution I feel is the improvisations of educational institutions there which provide skill training as well as elementary education. This would broaden the thinking of the women as they would be exposed to new idea of development and financial independence which further would help them , their community as well as the national economy. And also there are a lot of schemes which have been introduced to help such communities hence awareness is needed so come institutions to even aware them can help to a great extent. As I a 10th grader these are the few things which come to my mind and I feel this can resolve a lot of problems faced.
