Tribal development forms the foundation for the economic growth of a nation which carries with it a substantial portion of the tribal population. Supporting the native tradition is the key to building a strong community and a healthy economy. With 8% of the population of India belonging to the Scheduled Tribe it becomes critical for the government to safeguard their interest and promote their livelihood. TRIFED the Government of India established organization, supported by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs has been a security net for the tribes across the nation for over 30 years now. It has taken several initiatives for socio-economic welfare and empowerment of tribal communities through capability building, marketing, distribution, packaging, and other supporting activities.

Inhabiting the remotest parts of the country and being reserved, poses several problems for the community as well as the government in assisting their growth

• Dwelling in the Natural Habitat they carry a wealth of knowledge in plants, forest produces as well as ancient herbs, which is tantamount to that of an expert. With efficient support, this can be developed further to generate significant income for the community
• There has been an increase in the rate of unemployment among schedule tribes in the past few years owing to the lack of connection to the mainstream market
• Despite having been given reservations by the central government, residing in rural areas have posed difficulty for them in making the most of the benefits offered
• Members of the tribal community have made noteworthy contributions to the nation right from our struggle for freedom to the field of Healthcare, Education, and Technology. This shows that the community holds the potential to thrive under proper guidance

Taking the aforesaid points into consideration, TRIFED has committed itself to ensuring the all-around welfare of the Indian tribes. This is not limited to just inculcating entrepreneurial skills among them or having built an exclusive brand “Tribes India” for them but extends to establishing Van DhanKendras, providing awareness about vaccination for Covid, providing vocational training, and organizing Trade Fairs on a massive scale. The recent decision to observe the 15th November-the birth anniversary of tribal icon BirsaMunda as “Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas” is praiseworthy and TRIFED would unveil The National Tribal Festival “Aadi Mahotsav” on the following day to commemorate it. This festival is not only a platform for the tribal artisans to showcase their valuable skills but the revenue that it generates for the community is of utmost significance.

TRIFED under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi has been constantly pushing and coming up with reformed measures to realize the mission of Atmanirbhar Bharat by improving the quality of tribal produce, providing technological up-gradation, assisting in research & development and is now keen to see the suggestions of field experts, students, business leaders, social activists, subject-matter experts and all the contributors to this field in order to expedite its mission of economic development of Tribals.

As we mark the 75th year of India’s Independence we want you to have a greater stake in revolutionizing the tribal economy.

The last date to share your ideas and suggestions is 30th June, 2022

What ever mission or project or any acts are taken by Our Indian Govt. for better economy, It should be proper way to implement at grassroots level to take benefit without fear by the BPL categories people because still now there is BPL categories after around 75th independent day will come. All States Govt. should be equal responsible to implement the act or mission because it is passed through majority vote from lokshabha. Such as 100 days work , where it is found that any thing is wrong go to grassroots level employee who works as per direction of immediate authority when any failure is found. It is my succession please help to identify the problem how it will be solved because beneficiary does not get his or her benefit if arise any thing wrong and there should be a last certification base on option regarding field visit (picture upload) and comments by the Block Development Officer and it should be mandatory and Biometric should be introduce in 100 days work to stop feck worker

Tribal people are born champion in athletics and traditional sports like archery, Javelin throw, gymnastics. They should be encouraged to participate in sports. By doing so we can generate medals for India and simultaneously they will get money to support their daily needs and slowly they will join main stream of our country. One such tribe is "Bhat" found in Rajsthan and Haryana.

Based on the figures that the Government has with regards to the Tribes & Adivasis. 1. Classify regions ( A, B, C) based on their population so that the planning & implementation can be done accordingly. 2. Based on the Classification there should be atleast 1 Skill Development Centre in Highly Populated Tribal Areas. 3. Connect all the Tribes with the Centre Digitally. 4. Connect Agro based Companies with these Centres. 5. Based on the demography each tribal location would have a unique product or a bio diversity. The Hotels can come up with concepts like Stay with the Tribes for a day which will help them to generate revenue & the tribes earn a living. 6. Every Tribal Centre should have a unique code no given by the Government & any individual from India can send help in material or money directly to the centre by just the unique code no need for a complete address. 7. Introduce them to Cattle, Sheep, Goats, Chicken rearing business. 8. Adopt a Tribe Schemes to save Income Tax

The land less tribal people should be assisted by raising the forest resources like nursery, and the state government should purchase seeding from them to raise their economic status. The local tribal people should be engaged in the forest protection works and be provided the wages for the same. JAI HIND🇮🇳 AIR CADET KAYAL

National education policy that kind of reforms are necessary where child assessment amd development can be done based on his area of interest and capabilities which he has and according to that only his development happened and he can contribute to the development of nation. In that way government of India should do the reforms by considering rural and urban areas scope of people development then we will become empowered and develop country across the world for e.g. Harry Potter kind of movies as reference
