Namaskar, Yoga is for mental stability, peace and physical fitness. Like doing other activities regularly ie: getting up in the morning, getting fresh, eating, going for work and sleeping. Yoga also add in your daily life. You will feel changes. Wish you good health, happiness and peace.

*yoga- union with the divine chitta vrithi-mental vibrations nirodha - stoppage.
Yoga or self-realization means stoppage of mental activity.

yoga is a Sanskrit word meaning'union with the divine'.
the Sanskrit word 'yuj' means to 'attach to the spirit'.
yoga is not a religion.yoga is spiritual.
there are four yogas or means to attain salvation or self-realization.they are jnana yoga, Karma yoga, raja yoga, and bhakti yoga.
