For self reliance in steel industry, we need to proiduce certain key machinery, which is used in steel production, whose presence affects capacity of production, which is imported from foreign country, has to be identified, manufacture them in abundant by a Government Organization and sell it with a very low cost and enforce all steel industries to purchase them to enhance their production capacity. Once it is enforced, then supply has to increase by two to three folds every year. :)

Respected Modiji, Where steel sector is concerned I think a major negative appears to be lack of coordination and infrastructure within the country. The fallback of this is huge imports of raw materials for steel plants from other nations inspite of it being available within our country. We need to look into a strong and fast transportation method for industrial use linking the mineral rich states as the nation and many industries will benefit.

Hon'ble P M, I am a retired Government Officer and would like to bring one small suggestion for your kind notice. We all know that lakhs of cases are pending in various State High Courts and Hon'ble Supreme Court. The major no of cases in these courts are filed by public/Organizations against various State and Central Government Departments. In my opinion at least 50% cases can be disposed off if defendant Departments files counters. Most of the cases are only waiting for counters.

Respected Mr prime minister namaskar. I am an ex-employee of sail and presently teaching in South Africa. 1. Please stop corruption in promotion of non executive to executive posts by paying money! It happens right from the post of MD to E zero levels! Corruption is killing the industry. Ministers are taking bribe for promotions. I know I have no definite proof but I know that I did not get my promotion because I did not pay! It is not a complain but request. Open schools to promote quality edu

Dear sir. I work in hydrocarbon industry and we deal with offshore steel structures. I strongly recommend to do all steel fabrication for psu orders in India. This will create large no of jobs in our country. One more sector is ship building where our share is negligible. It is necessary to grow this as it brings new technology to our country and lots and lots of jobs. We are highly capable to do this work but something is missing. Govt should bring all parties on board and build a policy.

There are No skill in Alloy steel in India. But to start a Training Center is not possible due to High Investment. Govt should invest in Steel Ind. Training Infra and people like us are interested to run the Training Centers under Skill India. so that we can create future Resource in India itself. Especially Metallurgy Engineering. for producing World class Steel, only Equipment is not enough, need Quality Resource also. Steel plant dont hv Time to Train due to big Attrition in the past.

Sir your thinking is Excellent. I m Metallurgist and 30 yrs in Alloy steel Ind. exp in India Abroad. Presently consultant to India's top Auto component Ind. Presently only Two Alloy steel Ind, are overloaded. They r in confusion to invest in CapeX or Not !! since this Boom will last for How Long. Govt. should Make compulsory to Big industry to outsource to SME like Spherodisation Annealing Capacity or Peeling Capacity etc. Which will generate Employment and success of Make in India.
