Bamboo has been the lifeline of rural India since time immemorial. With the passage of time and development of technologies leading to new usage, the 'green gold' has turned into a potential game changer for rural economy - for the farmer and industry equally.

With this background and number of progressive measures including the amendment of the Indian Forest Act to remove bamboo outside forests from the definition of 'trees', the restructured National Bamboo Mission (NBM) was launched in 2018-19 for the development of complete value chain of bamboo sector linking growers (farmers) with industry starting from raising quality planting material, plantation, creation of facilities for collection, aggregation, processing, micro, small & medium enterprises, skill development and brand building initiative in a cluster approach mode.

‘National Bamboo Mission’ invites farmers, entrepreneurs, researchers, bamboo-based industry to send in their experiences, innovations, and good practices adopted for increased productivity, strengthen supply of raw material to industry, products in sync with contemporary markets, REPLACE SINGLE USE PLASTICS, new age construction, and other sunrise uses.

In India, they are found growing naturally in almost all parts of the country except Kashmir. 125 indigenous and 11 exotic species of bamboo belonging to 23 genera are reportedly found in India.Bamboo is a versatile, strong, renewable and environment-friendly material. Bamboo has a lot of economic benefits and that is why it is a brisk business to start a bamboo farms We can suggest to the farmers to go for this profitable cultivation. Rajasekhar

Bamboo Trees are important as right now in India there are many houses made of bamboo. It is also a diet of Giant Panda. Bamboo trees are also used in many things. There is also a lucky bamboo which is told to generate Energy, good health and peace. Bamboo's also have medicinal value.

Almost all Grass species nearly 1800 from medicinal grass to rice to wheat to corn to giant big bamboo which is as equal strength like strong iron if treated well to use professionally at the same time durability is more than hundreds of years at user friendly. Modern technology used to manufacture kerchief to bag to packaging items at the re-useable model to containers to fruit basket then a revolution and huge export income too Government must appoint officials at pro-rata basis on services

Baboo is a big industry feeding huge population especially Tribals. But lack of professionals in the industry providing support reserved instead of deserved are supporting with escapism and excuses. Now time to avoid all reservations and allow Deserved to work to introduce in the Industry to bring the best output. MDF and particle board and bricks manufacturing from an entire waste of bamboo and all palm leaves & all other wastes will bring revolution in the industry.. Proposed to Bamboo Corp

A single plant of bamboo lives upto 80 to 140 years . It does not requires more amount of water. Also it has a great speed if growing as it can grow upto 25 centimeters in a single day. Bamboo plant has also provided a wide variety of opportunities to the craftsmen for making different kinds of handicrafts. Bamboo crafts have also helped in replacing the articles made up of plastics. From my point of view bamboo crafts are the best.

BAMBOOS BELONG TO PLANT CRITERIA WHICH IS USED FOR MAKING ARTEFACTS IN SOUTHERN INDIA WHICH IS A GREEN GOLD.THIS CAN BE USED IN CONSTRUCTION PURPOSES AS WELL AS DECORATORY.GOVERNMENT CAN PROVIDE A MARKET FOR FARMERS TO SELL SUCH ARTEFACTS AND CAN EXPORT IT TO FOREIGN COUNTRIES TO ENCOURAGE ARTEFACT PRODUCTIONS

গ্রামীন এলাকায় বাঁশ এর প্রয়োজনীয়তা বেশি ,গ্রামের মানুষের জীবিকা বহন করে বাঁশ। বাড়ির কাঠামো বানাতে সাহায্য করে।
