Bamboo has been the lifeline of rural India since time immemorial. With the passage of time and development of technologies leading to new usage, the 'green gold' has turned into a potential game changer for rural economy - for the farmer and industry equally.

With this background and number of progressive measures including the amendment of the Indian Forest Act to remove bamboo outside forests from the definition of 'trees', the restructured National Bamboo Mission (NBM) was launched in 2018-19 for the development of complete value chain of bamboo sector linking growers (farmers) with industry starting from raising quality planting material, plantation, creation of facilities for collection, aggregation, processing, micro, small & medium enterprises, skill development and brand building initiative in a cluster approach mode.

‘National Bamboo Mission’ invites farmers, entrepreneurs, researchers, bamboo-based industry to send in their experiences, innovations, and good practices adopted for increased productivity, strengthen supply of raw material to industry, products in sync with contemporary markets, REPLACE SINGLE USE PLASTICS, new age construction, and other sunrise uses.

यह मामला मध्य प्रदेश के बुरहानपुर का है। निंबोला क्षेत्र के एक किसान के तीन बेटों ने बेकार पड़े पाइपों के जरिये धमाका बंदूक बना दी। दरअसल, किसान खेतों में सूअर और अन्य जानवरों के घुसने से परेशान था। हर साल उसकी लाखों की फसल खराब हो जाती थी। पटाखे आदि काम नहीं करते थे। इस बंदूक से ऐसा धमाका होता है कि जानवर डरके भाग जाते हैं। बता दें कि यह बंदूक बनाने वाले मनोज जाधव 8वीं, पवन जाधव 7वीं तक पढ़े हैं। सिर्फ जितेंद्र पवार ग्रेजुएट हैं। इसकी आवाज 2 किमी तक सुनाई पड़ती है।

Bamboo has traditional and mythological excellence to be explored more more to excel by incorporating with government programs to bamboo farming and related.Exhibions, documentary film on bamboo cultivation, harvesting and market compromise should be taken care. A mission on "Bamboo care" should lunch . Bamboo in International address especially bamboo utility should be promoted.National bamboo mission should be taken care by forming a committee.

We have to maintain to protect this natural resource through man made forests, to sopport cottage industries for crafted products and interior decoration. Government of India to have a plan for developing forest based crops for supporting employment oriented industries and for crafted objects to export.

Bamboo is eco-friendly product, bamboo farming systems should be incorporated with government options, local awareness generation activities and seminar, workshop and discussion on bamboo cultivation and encouragement should be activated.Bamboo research centres and market price should be allocated.Goverment should allow subsidy to farmers for community empowerment .Bamboo,though has traditionally recognition, should be taken as a subject in school education.Bamboo produce should be in skill set

Bamboo has traditionally recognition as aspicious and restoration of bamboo farming should be incorporated with government programs.Bamboo is profitable and makes social linkages wide, economic allocation and better livelihood lead are the major components.Encouragement to bamboo farming and related should be taken care.Digitalisation to farmers and market facilities should be taken care.Export and import are important to address economic , cultural and community empowerment .
