@Farmers should be provided incentives so that can be motivated to grow bamboo
@The left and unused barren land can be utilised to grow those plant species which has got some medicinal values and is at the threat of being endangered or extinct. Likewise, bamboo can be planted out there

Every indigenous plant has got some medicinal and commercial value along with aesthetic and consumer value. Likewise bamboo has been of great importance to rural society since years and now has got a lot of commercial use from mushroom farming to Sugarcane Mills. There are many varities of bamboo which can be found. But what is alarming is that these are rapidly vanishing away. The reason being ... shortage of land.
So there is a dire need to put our hands together to protect these varities.
