Bamboo has been the lifeline of rural India since time immemorial. With the passage of time and development of technologies leading to new usage, the 'green gold' has turned into a potential game changer for rural economy - for the farmer and industry equally.

With this background and number of progressive measures including the amendment of the Indian Forest Act to remove bamboo outside forests from the definition of 'trees', the restructured National Bamboo Mission (NBM) was launched in 2018-19 for the development of complete value chain of bamboo sector linking growers (farmers) with industry starting from raising quality planting material, plantation, creation of facilities for collection, aggregation, processing, micro, small & medium enterprises, skill development and brand building initiative in a cluster approach mode.

‘National Bamboo Mission’ invites farmers, entrepreneurs, researchers, bamboo-based industry to send in their experiences, innovations, and good practices adopted for increased productivity, strengthen supply of raw material to industry, products in sync with contemporary markets, REPLACE SINGLE USE PLASTICS, new age construction, and other sunrise uses.

My experiences and suggestions in bamboo value chain * In south India ,We use bamboo rice (mullayari) for the preparation of kheer,payasam which is a nutritious food. *Bamboo shoot is also a nutritious food *Bamboo is used to make home decors but the availability of bamboo is still minimal.Proper availability of bamboo across the nation is needed.

Respected All, As we all know INDIA is developing Nation & As PM Sir mentioned Be Vocal For Local. We all feel happy to use plastic which not only harm us but also harms our AIR , WATER & LAND. But if we consider Our natural and rural resources like bamboo, there are so many profits we give to our nation's people. Some profits are given below; (A).Export of our nation in Bamboo related material. (B).Social Message to World to use Bamboo products. (C).Increase in Employment to youth of INDIA.

Respected sir, I came to know that Bamboo is the one of the material which is having more tensile strength than the steel. In the building construction, concrete and masonry ia taking care of load due to compression, which is more important in small low cost houses.steel is only considered to take care of tensile strength. As compared to steel, bamboo is much better than to take care of tensile stress and even sesmic forces, when the earth quake in small scales. So Bamboo with all capabilities,

Green gold, Green task, Green economic, green farming, green industrial, green art, green artificial, green positive energy green,green technology, green irrigation, green Jobs, green service, green forests green production, green management programs for farmers, green signal for Economic development are being basically BAMBOO PLANTS. ENVIRONMENT HEALTH and economic development, Atumonous positive AatmaNirbharta to do. Pulp and paper technology are development upon BAMBOO PLANTS use.

एक बार बाँस खेत में लगा दिया जायें तो ५ साल बाद वह उपज देने लगता है। अन्य फसलों पर सूखे एवं कीट बीमारियो का प्रकोप हो सकता है। जिसके कारण किसान को आर्थिक हानि उठानी पड़ती है। लेकिन बाँस एक ऐसी फसल है जिस पर सूखे एवं वर्षा का अधिक प्रभाव नहीं पड़ता है, बाँस का पेड़ अन्य पेड़ों की अपेक्षा ३० प्रतिशत अधिक ऑक्सीजन छोड़ता और कार्बन डाईऑक्साइड खींचता है साथ ही यह पीपल के पेड़ की तरह दिन में कार्बन डाईऑक्साइड खींचता है और रात में आक्सीजन छोड़ता है।

bambo ka use dicrotation and silp work and food ranger of use food industry.ANd water boat and handle of any sharpe cutter.And house my house make bombo l bleave in banbo.

Green gold is a good name and correct name for bamboos. Bamboo is many usage in human life. Like paper prepare, koodai , Bamboo flooring, Bamboo house, bamboos furniture , bamboos is one of the feeds for banda and more reducement
