Bamboo has been the lifeline of rural India since time immemorial. With the passage of time and development of technologies leading to new usage, the 'green gold' has turned into a potential game changer for rural economy - for the farmer and industry equally.

With this background and number of progressive measures including the amendment of the Indian Forest Act to remove bamboo outside forests from the definition of 'trees', the restructured National Bamboo Mission (NBM) was launched in 2018-19 for the development of complete value chain of bamboo sector linking growers (farmers) with industry starting from raising quality planting material, plantation, creation of facilities for collection, aggregation, processing, micro, small & medium enterprises, skill development and brand building initiative in a cluster approach mode.

‘National Bamboo Mission’ invites farmers, entrepreneurs, researchers, bamboo-based industry to send in their experiences, innovations, and good practices adopted for increased productivity, strengthen supply of raw material to industry, products in sync with contemporary markets, REPLACE SINGLE USE PLASTICS, new age construction, and other sunrise uses.

Bamboo is actually an evergreen plant, and a member of the true grass family Phocaea. It is the fastest-growing woody perennial on the planet, and some of the giant species can grow up to four feet per day! It is found on nearly every continent in the world and has a wide range of useful applications.

इसे देखो इंडिया 2022 के अंतर्गत भी जोड़ा जाना चाहिए जिससे कि पर्यटन के माध्यम से भी प्रचार प्रसार हो सके। हमारे देश में अभी यह पर्यटन से बहुत से जगहों पर विभिन्न माध्यमों के द्वारा जुड़ा हुआ है। जहाँ इससे बनने वाली सामग्री उपयोग में लाई जाती हैं एवम कही कही इससे बनने वाली बाँस के कमरे का भी उपयोग होता हैं। इसे बढ़ावा देने की जरूरत हैं।

जहाँ जहाँ इससे बनने वाली हमारी घरेलू उत्पाद हो उसे प्राथमिकता दी जानी चाहिए। इसके द्वारा बनने वाली वस्तुओं में जहाँ भी इसकी जरूरत हो जैसे अगरबत्ती, फर्नीचर, खिलौने आदि में वहां वदेशी उत्पाद की जगह अपने घरेलू उत्पाद को बढ़ावा मिले।

यह रोजगार के लिये भी विभिन्न माध्यमों के द्वारा लोगो को जोड़ता हैं। किसान भी इससे जुड़े हुए होते है। यह हमारी अर्थव्यवस्था में भी अपना योगदान देता हैं। इसे बढ़ावा दिये जाने की जरूरत है।

आत्मनिर्भर भारत के हमारे सपनों को यह पूरा करता है जरूरत इस बात की है कि आज इसे राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर एक पहचान दिलाने की आवश्यकता है। इस उद्योग को लोकल फ़ॉर वोकल से जोड़ने की जरूरत हैं। जिससे की इसका प्रचार प्रसार अधिक से अधिक हो सके।

बांस से बनी वस्तु के उपयोग हेतू इसके प्रचार-प्रसार के लिए पंचायत, प्रखंड, ज़िला, शहर, राज्य एवम देश के स्तर पर वयापक नीति बननी होगी। इसके लिए हर आयु के लोगो को जोड़ना होगा और इसकी उपयोगिता एवम महत्ता को बताना होगा।

Micro Skills development, rural and farmers economy are good results to production of Bamboo plants. Missions Bamboo is micro economic are as well as Skills development good. Environment and pollution are very much good Bamboo plants. Green fuel, domestic things, industrial development, medical and aaurvedha's needs etc. more important Bamboo plants. Approach of micro is very valuable to Bamboo plants. Bamboo missions are very valuable positive activities .Environment is good.
