बांस आज के समय का सबसे महत्वपूर्ण पेड़(घास) है जिससे हमारे देश के कई राज्यों में इससे लोगों को रोजगार मिलता है और इससे देश की आय का एक महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सा बनता जा रहा है बांस पर्यावरण के अनुकूल है जिससे कई उत्पाद बनाये जा सकते है और इससे कोई पॉलूशन भी नहीं फैलता और साथ ये स्वच्छ वातारण को बनाये रखता है बांस आज खेत और बंजर पड़ी जमीन पर लगाये जा सकते हैं ये किसान की आय का एक स्त्रोत बन सकता है इसलिए भारत सरकार को इसके लिये कई योजना बनाना चाहिए क्योंकि ग्रीन इण्डिया क्लीन इण्डिया

We needs to be encourage and advertise added-value bamboo products are flooring, panels ,construction beams, kitchen ware, latex-backed flooring on a roll, mouldings and of course the traditional furniture assortment and decking made of bamboo.

बांस की खेती आसानी से की जा सकती हैं, इसे ज्यादा देखभाल की आवश्यकता नहीं है। यह किसानों के लिए घरेलू स्तर बहुत ही उपयोगी साबित होगी अगर इससे बनने वाली वस्तुओं की जानकरी उन्हें दी जाए साथ ही प्रशिक्षण की व्यवस्था की जाए और बाजार उपलब्ध कराई जाए।
