Bamboo has been the lifeline of rural India since time immemorial. With the passage of time and development of technologies leading to new usage, the 'green gold' has turned into a potential game changer for rural economy - for the farmer and industry equally.

With this background and number of progressive measures including the amendment of the Indian Forest Act to remove bamboo outside forests from the definition of 'trees', the restructured National Bamboo Mission (NBM) was launched in 2018-19 for the development of complete value chain of bamboo sector linking growers (farmers) with industry starting from raising quality planting material, plantation, creation of facilities for collection, aggregation, processing, micro, small & medium enterprises, skill development and brand building initiative in a cluster approach mode.

‘National Bamboo Mission’ invites farmers, entrepreneurs, researchers, bamboo-based industry to send in their experiences, innovations, and good practices adopted for increased productivity, strengthen supply of raw material to industry, products in sync with contemporary markets, REPLACE SINGLE USE PLASTICS, new age construction, and other sunrise uses.

विभिन्न प्रयोगों द्वारा यह साबित होता है कि बांस को लोहे के सरिए की जगह RCC में भी इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है। बांस की tensile strength सरिये से बेहतर होती है। इसकी सीमेंट के साथ binding strength भी ज्यादा होती है।

जिन लोगों को दमे यानि अस्थमा की समस्या रहती है उनके लिए भी बंसलोचन अत्यंत लाभकारी सिद्ध होता है। 20-20 ग्राम मात्रा में वंशलोचन और पीपल को अच्छी तरह से पीस लें और फिर इस चूर्ण की 2 ग्राम मात्रा में एक चम्मच शहद मिलाकर सुबह खाली पेट लें। जल्द ही अस्थमा की समस्या खत्म हो जाती है।

हम पुराने नुस्खे भूलते जा रहे हैं। बांस से बंसलोचन मिलता है। यह खाद्य कैल्सियम का शुद्ध प्राकृतिक रूप है। बच्चों को शहद के साथ देने से हड्डियां और दांत मजबूत होते हैं। बिना शहद के साथ भी चबा कर खाया जा सकता है।

Sir, Bureau of Indian Standard has developed design code for houses made from Bamboo.Centre & state should take policy decision that all Govt houses in forest areas shall be made of this only. Further Govt. should make publish various designs of houses with measurements & costings.Further all temporary Govt. housing for project period should be made of bamboo only.

I want to use bamboo plants in innovation for 1. creating marine life adventure parks, 2. creating personalized fish tank territory for developing fishries, moonga rocks, different pearls moti in dariya. 3. stop disturbing cyclone. 4. stop rising oceans 4. stop la-nino, al-nino effects.

The Bambuseae are the most diverse tribe of bamboos in the grass family. They consist of woody species from tropical regions, including some giant bamboos. Their sister group are the small herbaceous bamboos from the tropics in tribe Olyreae, while the temperate woody bamboos are more distantly related.

Bamboos include some of the fastest-growing plants in the world, due to a unique rhizome-dependent system. Certain species of bamboo can grow 910 mm (36 in) within a 24-hour period, at a rate of almost 40 mm (1 1⁄2 in) an hour (a growth around 1 mm every 90 seconds, or 1 inch every 40 minutes).
