Beti bachao Beti padhao is a good campaign - but before that, one should allow a girl child to be born. Even though it is illegal to undertake and divulge the geneder after scans, it still happens - even in metro cities. Government should come up with stricter measures, and more education to the masses on the importance of the girl child.

PC PNDT act is not going to be of any help in addressing adverse sex ratio. Now almost 80 percent or more deliveries in hospitals and hence births are registered on real time basis. Why not have a system of publishing sex ratio at birth for all districts/blocks on a monthly basis and zero down to those areas which shows consistent detoriation. Also incentivize panchyats for healthy sex ratios.

It is the responsibility of our govt that each and every merit girl student get admission in professional courses like medicine, engineering, science etc. Even students from upper caste are dying for food but they are denying to get admission because they are from forward cast. Govt should reconsider the issue of reservations in education. Educational support by means of financial assistance be given to each and every merit student irrespective of caste. Then only our country become super power

Make higher education, medical expenses free for the girl child till graduation. Ensure tat in every sport, the participation of the girl child is mandatory. Further more in each and every school rigorous exercise is very important. Most children have become slaves of junk food and the TV. This trend will ruin our nation as the future generation will be full of dummies.

Encourage girls in every field. Educating girls/women and empowering them is a good sign. They will play a crucial role role in transforming India and contribute more than what men contribute. In the same time government is also responsible to create necessary environment by giving them financial support irrespective of caste/religion. The reservation system in education is spoiling the life of merit students of upper caste. Even low scoring students get admition where merit students will not.

hey.i would like to request the concerned authority to create more opportunities for beti who all have acquired education but due to social structure of our country and society they are forced to stay back at home. Their dreams, ambitions and hopes are not given wings. There are thousands of beti who are doctors, engineers , chartered accountants, company secretary , mba, but are forced to stay back at home. Why not the government create adequate opportunities for them to work from home?
