Beti Bachao Beti Padhao a good initiative for growing India. Dowry system in India is a great concern for the parents of daughters. In this context my idea is that the government should proactive in framing rules. Our education system and the society should create awareness in order to abolish the practice of dowry system. Sir, if you talk on this in your 'Man ki Bat' program the youth generation and the society may change their attitude towards this system.

First Of all, I would like to congratulate for the beti bachao beti padhao Campaign. The need to change their mentality towards a girl and it can be done by a better upbringing of a male child by his parent. Beti ko padhao, wo bhavishya me tumhari he madad karegi!

Role of fathers is most important in protecting the rights of Girl child in a family. Equalt treatment of girl vis a vis a boy in every activity at home like sports, making decisions, asking her interets in simple day to day chores, educating the child on coeducation schools, participate her in evry chore of household like a boy child, allowing her to move alone, allowing her to do every activity like playing outdoor sports, mixing with neighbourhood boys, doing repairing works like boys, not distinguishing the chores that boys can do or girls can do.

Sir, with due respect i submit something which your goodselves should take care of. With Obama meeting, your goodselves where keen in inviting business opporutnities to our country. But Sir, my state Kerala is facing a huge problem of poor industrialisation and commercialisation. just because of harthals and strikes. Today (27.01.2015), an harthal is being held by BJP just because of some cheap politics. Sir do u think that this Harthal will do any good other than wasting of productive time.

If each brother starts giving respect to his sister, then automatically things will start changing. Cultural change will not take overnight, but we should start with this small thing. In Republic day parade we saw the "Nari Shakti". These lady officers will be really inspiration to all ,and even Men will start thinking that women are not dependant on Men , but they are not only capable of protecting themselves but are protecting our Nation. We must take care of girl child like caring of boy child.There must be some environment where girls should be encouraged to interact with fellow boys.It is not a big problem in big city,but smaller cities and villages are laggards.Guardian should be encourage to pay more attention to their girls child.So that they can realize the full potential of their daughter.

It is of utmost importance that all such well meaning, well thought out schemes launched by our govt. are followed to its logical end. Instead of leaving it solely as the responsibility of the department all NGO's and social activists should be involved to insure its factual implementation. All elected representatives from the gram panchayat level upwards to insure it is on the ground and not only on paper. A missionary zeal should run through all to protect our girls and give them the best.
