I live in Singapore and one very successful program they have implemented is baby bonus .. In the same breath we can implement a girl bonus scheme ... On the birth of every child a fixed sum is deposited in the bank account of the parent.. This can be used towards expenses.... Schools especially private schools should have a provision where part of school fees should be able to be borne by the government... This will also ensure that there is no misuse of govt money and middle men r eliminated

I have observed it many a times around, that women feel (or are made to feel) shy about carrying a women's body! While our culture teaches us that "Sharam aurat ka gehna hai", I feel its not being taken rightly. I feel rather "Elegance aurat ka gehna hai". She does not have to be insecure/shy about her natural biology. Parents should make their daughters understand this and encourage them to be confident n participate in all fields including sports. The equality should start at home..!

Nothing would work better than to educate parents of a girl child. They should have the courage to accept the fact that their daughter is not an inch less capable to live her life with proud and dignity. The only support she needs is a moral support of her proud parents.
