Return - all govt. employees must adopt/finance one girl child.

I have personal experience to share about girl-child. I feel very proud of being father of two daughters. Like many of we Indians I was initially worried about having two daughters but they brought me lot of prosperity & happiness in life. Both my daughters are engineers & well settled. My second daughter recvd. scholarships and was sent abroad by her employers. I hardly spent any money in her education and marriage. She took us on a tour to USA & both of them care a lot about us. We are thnkful

In many parts of India, families still think education of a girl as a qualifying criteria for marriage with an appropriate groom. Many years back, this criteria was 10th or 12th class. Nowadays, its Graduation or a Bachelor's degree. Earlier, parents used to marry off their girls as soon as they completed 12th class in schools. Nowadays they marry them off as soon as girls graduate from college. No importance is given to the girl's professional aspirations after that. This should change.

Gender neutralisation in India could be achieved by a 2-tier programme:- TIER 1:- Ministry of Women & Child Development gels completely with UNESCO ,UN WOMEN & Programmed distribution of NGO'S.This team will be identifying areas of improvement throughout the country, extricate region specific solutions and coordinating well among themselves to translate suggestions from each of them in its monthly meetings. Tier 2:State government & regional NGO to facilitate TIER 1 Team plans.
