This is a good idea to have village formation day. It has to be set in consultation with the villagers. They may want to connect to some historical event or date. They may connected to such events culturally and historically. I can suggest a process to figure this out. In the village school, teacher should be given the responsibility and training facilitate "KNOW YOUR OWN VILLAGE" project to children. Such a project will give answer to all these questions that ministry is seeking

I'm very sad to see the situation of my village. In every panchayat election all candidates gets votes on the basis of liquor distributed by them. I bet that they do nothing during their tenure except filling their own pockets. There false claims of development should be scrutinized well by a honest authority. Till now I've spent my whole life in city and i used to visit my village regularly. But if things will go like this my next generation will not even see their genesis.

On Occasion on village formation day or its birthday, all villagers to be called at public place and need to put all grievances and suggestion in suggestion box and also data related to their family members , health care, birth , death can be collected and updated in a centralized server which after verification can be linked directly central database . secondly, they can plan for some training on innovation and awareness or rewards related to good cultivation/production of crops.

the most horrible problem of India starts from smallest part of India that is grampanchayat. future of politics start from here and they promotes illegal construction for their votes i.e. kabja on panchyat land by villagers.

Sir, I am a employee of PRI sector(West Bengal) working from last 8 years.I fell that employess of this sector gives 100% of there service to impliment central sponsored scheme to rural India. But these employees suffers to avail all the facility that State Govt. employee enjoys.PRI employees also faced problem to impliment the central scheme from local political leader.I think the employees of PRI sector should come under Central Goverment directly insted under State Govt.
