The Ministry is seeking suggestions/ ideas/ inputs on the modalities of celebrating the village formation day, either on a particular date, or a day of choice based on some historical reasons or on April 24, the Panchayati Raj Day.

Individual queries series of questions seeking inputs on the following aspects of the village formation day would be posed to the citizens:

i. How the village formation day may be identified by each village i.e. either on a particular date, or a day of choice based on some historical reasons or on April 24, the Panchayati Raj Day?

ii. What all activities could be undertaken for celebrating the village formation day?

iii. In what ways could the villagers be involved with the celebration of the village formation day?

iv. What could be the funding source(s) for the celebrating the village formation day?

v. What resolve by villagers/Gram Panchayat, Goal setting for next year/five years towards improving quality of life parameters (like safe drinking water, open defecation free village, solid and liquid waste management, reduction in infant mortality rate and maternal mortality rate, etc.)
could be incorporated in the village formation day?

vi. What could be the basis of the preparation of the roll of honour of individuals?

vii. What kind of awards honouring the people who have done exceptional work could be instituted during the village formation day?

Hello Modiji, I have one concern regarding Jan Dhan Yojana, regarding mandatory use of debit card within every 45 days. As i am from a small village, it will be difficult for village people to do that. Because they will need to travel to the city to use it and they may not need it to use it that frequently. So it is my humble request to look into this matter and if possible then please increase it to 3 months atleast. Thanx & Regards, Mangesh Raimal

We must create possibility for people to check any complain anonymously online or through telephone to register a complaint, and those who show corruption or poor quality or work not done must be given reward of 2000rs . or for big corruption 10%.

sir, the reason private companies work is because consumer is the king in private sector. In public sector there is scope for corruption, because of lack of feedback. Make every file have a bar code, then you can check how long and where file is languishing. This is a strong feedback mechanism to check performance of people as well.We need to build feedback option with checking progress from the moment some one has applied for any services to begin with.

Sir strong and clear policies required on panchayat's as they are not doing what they have to do. They use there resources on taking personal benefit and major reason for failure for some of the best policies issued by Gov't. A separate department with proper guidelines has to enforce the right way of working through panchayat's. Regards Vikram singh

Dear PM Sir, Digital Services to rural in a Single level platform of providing all government schemes and services, build all infrastructures, technologies development, promotes rural entrepreneurship, builds rural capacities and livelihoods. The strategy has been evolving with time, and taking into its new approaches such as participatory local community to all Government agencies through common service centers. Grampanchayat will have every 5000 or more population contain one unit of CSC.

futur of any village depends wholly on pradhaan who is loyal to the villagers and corruption free. At the moment more than 80% pradhaans specially in u.p. are totally corrupt. c.b.i. investigation should be recommrnded for all of them not only limited districts. this is must to achieve goal of good governence.
