The Ministry is seeking suggestions/ ideas/ inputs on the modalities of celebrating the village formation day, either on a particular date, or a day of choice based on some historical reasons or on April 24, the Panchayati Raj Day.

Individual queries series of questions seeking inputs on the following aspects of the village formation day would be posed to the citizens:

i. How the village formation day may be identified by each village i.e. either on a particular date, or a day of choice based on some historical reasons or on April 24, the Panchayati Raj Day?

ii. What all activities could be undertaken for celebrating the village formation day?

iii. In what ways could the villagers be involved with the celebration of the village formation day?

iv. What could be the funding source(s) for the celebrating the village formation day?

v. What resolve by villagers/Gram Panchayat, Goal setting for next year/five years towards improving quality of life parameters (like safe drinking water, open defecation free village, solid and liquid waste management, reduction in infant mortality rate and maternal mortality rate, etc.)
could be incorporated in the village formation day?

vi. What could be the basis of the preparation of the roll of honour of individuals?

vii. What kind of awards honouring the people who have done exceptional work could be instituted during the village formation day?

SIR: AGRICULTURE SHOULD BE CONSIDERED AS INDUSTRY.FOR FARMERS SHOULD BE PROVIDED ELECTRICITY,SEEDS AND IRRIGATION AT SUBSIDIZED PRICE.FARMERS AND THEIR WORK SHOULD BE HIGHLY PRAISED.FARMERS SHOULD BE PROPERLY IDENTIFIED TO SUPERVISE THEIR WORKS.

Sir,I am writing this to control corruption which should start from village panchayat. Till now we have taken many steps to arrest corrupted person but we have not taken sufficient steps to control corruption,Transparency is the best method. Every village should have notice board in prominent place which display all the project with details expenditure, every panchayat must display all their project with details expenditure,For example a road project should accompany a display of with,height etc

SIR: TO IRRIGATE THE AGRICULTURAL LANDS,WE HAVE TO TAKE INITIATIVES FOR IRRIGATION AT LOW COST.IT CAN BE DONE BY SOLAR PANELS IN WESTERN ODISHA AND WIND MACHINES IN COASTAL ODISHA.

Dear PM Sir, Digital Services to rural in a Single level platform of providing all government schemes and services, build all infrastructures, technologies development, promotes rural entrepreneurship, builds rural capacities and livelihoods. The strategy has been evolving with time, and taking into its new approaches such as participatory local community to all Government agencies through common service centers. Grampanchayat will have every 5000 or more population contain one unit of CSC.

sir connectivity from village to village and to PANCHAYAT OFICE,BLOCK,TAHASIL and DISTRIVT OFICE is required badly.After thorough investgation by the officers in cosultation with SARAPANCH,WORD MEMBERS and SENIOR CITIZENS.Officers should be ke under rule of the land.regrds.

Sir / i have one problom in BIHAR there no international airport we should be provided facilities and plan also not same like varransi there is no plane for devolopment

This is great idea. One suggestion is to initiate the process of working on oral village history. Older people can be mobilised, rewarded and their experiences may be documented. 2. 'Chalo Gaon' campaign may be launched on this day. This will provide new impetus to rural area development. 3. Gram Sabhas can be organised where Panchayat representatives can read a report card 4. All Panchayats can be provided assistance to have its own website where natives may be mobilsed for more resources.

Panchayati Raaj ka pramukh uddeshya na keval satta ka vikendrikaran karana tha apitu shashan mein jan sahbhaita sunishchit karana bhi tha........ parantu kalantar mein is uddeshya ki prapti kuchh panchayaton tak hi seemit reh gayi hai........ adhikansh sthanon par aavantit dhan ko kis prakar vittiya varsh ke andar upyog hua dikha kar samapt kiya ja sake, isi uddeshya mein simat jata hai..... Village formation day mein panchayaton ko jan sahyog badhane vaali yojnaon par kaarya karna chaiye...
